I had a bad experience with this line, on myself instead of a client thank God! I used a 7 NWB to tone my highlights and after the 10 minutes I washed it off and my hair was a lever 4 and all my lights were gone. I’m too scared to use this line now.. I will probably only use it on men trying to cover their gray but I was shocked it got my hair soooo dark not true to tone

Yes it is!!!! I would not use it if you taking longer than 10 minutes, this gets really dark! My level 7 turned out a 4 and I left it for 10 minutes

Hi, can you help me? I wanted my virgin gray/white hair colored darker gray in a peekaboo style to match the darker gray at the back of my head. I went to a colorist and she said she would have to lift it before she put color on it otherwise I wouldn't like the results. She got a lovely dark gray color with blue undertones but it started fading to brassy brown in about 3 weeks and needless to say I'm not happy with it, also my hair is damaged from the lifting and doing a plop and diffused curl style (as opposed to blow drying and curling it) doesn't look so great with the damaged parts.
My question is, was there really a need to lift my gray/almost white hair in order to dye it dark gray? Going forward, can I just have it dyed without being lifted? With the peekaboo style my plan was to leave it alone and not have to touch it up for 4 to 5 months. For background, I dyed my grays for decades using clairol hair dye and never had a problem. I've been dye free for about 3 years. Thank you! 🙂
