Not to take anything away from Alison (her voice is incredibly beautiful and she is a magnetic performer) but I always marvel at the mixing of Goldfrapp performances. It would be so easy for her low, intimate vocals to be lost amongst the other music but it never ever is - everything works together so harmoniously. Everyone involved is doing their job to absolute perfection and it's been put together, I think, with real care.

take 2 window on youtube start at different points plat at same speed line up parts until they sort of match. it makes a new version of the song. its an old dj trick we would buy 2 of the same track and play them together and cut from one track to the other and make a new version out of it. i did this and what the hell i slowed them down all the day and during playback it sounds freaking normal !!!!! but cooler 2 tracks playing together different parts at slowest speed. yu will freak
