I love the White Pass & Yukon, this is a pretty nice set. I find it interesting how Bachmann included a mogul out of all things. I mean, they have a few, but this is just a copy and paste of Colorado & Southern #9. Still cool anyway!
It seems unbelievable in this day and age that Bachmann still insists on making large model steam engines that lack chuffing and whistle sounds. Beautiful detailed scale appearance, but hell, let's burden the consumer to go out and learn to install a sound system....and just for Bachmann to offer a lower sales price than competitors. My economy Lionel O-27 gauge train bulit in the 1970's had a working headlight, smoke, steam chuffing sounds, and a detailed di-cast metal body. This Bachmann locomotive is probably a plastic shell body....and no sound or smoke? Damn, just damn.
if bachmann added sound to all their on30 sets they would be simply unaffordable to the customer, they are already quite pricey, but i do see youre point about how much plastic is on the model and how little diecast their is, but we do have to remember that adding a lot of diecast would again simply just up the price and for a set like that we really dont need it. and very pricey in this day in age. The locos still pull of a nice look.
WOW! A White Pass & Yukon passenger electric model train set led by Mogul? I love this train set already! Way to inspire my vision.
One of trains sets on my Christmas list
Excellent review. Only for the eyes to see and understand. NO talking. COOL.CHEERS FROM New Jersey USA 🇺🇸
This also reminds me of my Spirit of America train set.
I’d love to make a mountain railroad with this set
Holaaa buenas tardes muchas gracias por subir un nuevo video abrazo grande excelente umboxing
I would love to have that train but damm that motor noise
Me too! I’d imagine a good lube and break in would quiet it down , some?
I have the set and I think it’s just because it’s brand new. After a few minutes of running it quieted down.
Wow that's cool
Review the Bachmann 1225!!!

the motor and gears sound horrible. It should not be sounding like that.
