Thank you! It was very stressful for my pigs when I took them home for the first time, they did not eat (they ate a while after) I’ve had my pigs for almost 5 months :)

I brought mine home yesterday and they are eating in small increments but havnt had a lot of hay and no water. I've added cucumber and lettuce (which they nibble at) but constantly hide... I'm worried about the hay and water. How long did this take for yours mayi ask

@@TraysNailDesigns don’t worry! It’ll take them a while to get used to you and their new home. It’s perfectly normal, they may be eating when you’re not around because they’re nervous.

@@TraysNailDesigns my guinea pigs took a couple months to get used to me. And they’re still getting used to me and bonding. Sometimes it takes weeks, months, or even year/s for your guinea pigs to get used to you

How can you pick them up immediately when you buy them. Mine is just terrified of me all the time. I did get him around 5 days though but does anyone know how to not make them scared?

Try to lure them into a fleece item and carefully pick the fleece item up :)
