The botpolice have gone rogue in my servers. They don't detect bots, and just kill certain players over and over, or if you're really unlucky, all of the players.

But a lot of very shady people like to use it because they have the insurance that Telegram will NEVER give their data to anyone, even when it’s to the detriment of everyone else. Telegram actively refuses to cooperate with any investigations that would require them to leak people’s messages; they’ve gotten in trouble with numerous governments because of it, if I recall correctly. It’s cool that there’s that level of security going on, but that security attracts many disgusting people to do their shit untraceably.

To be honest if valve wanted to, they could sue the bot makers under the accusation that because the bot creators have caused a significant amount of people to quit tf2, and because this game has a massive economy that makes valve a lot of money that is especially payed for by veterans buying cosmetics who might've quit, the bot creators have stolen money from valve

from my understanding, hosting tf2 bots doesn't require money, all you need is:
-some sketchy github catfish-hoster or whatever
-good internet connection
-Pc emulators
and a dozon steam alts with tf2 owned (any amount of steam atls = how many bots get hosted on the emulators)
The cheat is cathook, a linux cheat and you dont really need an virtual machine for it, you can use one, but real hardware is better.
Steam accounts can easily be created within seconds with CS2 & TF2 already owned. You do not need separate emulators just to host many bots as cathook can load as many instances of the game as long as your PC can handle it. Also cathook and its forks are not sketchy as they are open source and all code can be checked and modified. And yes, you're correct as hosting bots is completely free as long as you've got the hardware to do so. I host about 12 bots on the same laptop and all the accounts are F2P, as I'm not willing to spend money on bot accounts only for them to get VAC banned within 2 - 3 months.
