Just watched this my mum and dad grew up in St Albans in Tavistock avenue and dad in Waverley rd my mum was in the qhoir at St Albans abbey lovely video of you both
This video just popped up on my feed. What a lovely bit of footage to remember. You do look so young. Mind you I was only 4 back then. lol. Been married 22 years and I can still remember the torrential rain on our wedding day. It never stopped and they kept playing that song with the line 'It's like rain on your wedding day' on the radio while I was getting ready. Nearly threw the radio out the window.
I love this, we married in 78 so the style of clothes is so like ours. A fabulous memento of the day and like you we are now both enjoying being able to get away in our camper 👍

Hi Bob and Jenny. After taking part in Zoe and Ads livestream today, UA-cam threw this one up to me. How wonderful to watch. You have changed moreso than Jenny. What a great video for you too keep and to share with us. I have one question though. Try as I might, I cannot work out the make or model of your Wedding car. Obviously not a Rolls, could it be a Standard ? I'm struggling here !! Fabulous to watch though. In 1977 I was aged 12 and I remember a great Street Party for the Queens Silver Jubilee. I still have my boxed 25p commemorative coin from that year. It is still probably worth 25p, !!!!
....wow you reminded me of those days , I was married 1973 and yes the Flares/Bell Bottoms, Fly away lapels and the collar length hair don't forget the Elton Johns stack hill shoes, hahaha.. even the cars I had a Ford Cosair we drove miles in that car.......... the Country have certainly changed since , homeless people , foodbanks, the days of the Golden Watch for long service is non existent now, ....... take care both.......

You have six years on us we married 1983 ! Went on honeymoon in our orange 🍊 VW Caravette parked it on the beach 🏖 in Dover and went to Paris for 4 days !
You were very amazing couple gorgeous bride 👰 handsome groom we too in Arabic countries ladies keep up fashion hairstyles same as you but since pandemic wedding ceremony held at home just siblings parents to prevent spread of COVID-19 May god end this global pandemic soon amen all of us are suffering thank you for showing us such magnificent scenes wonderful past memories

Great cine film. We married in 76. I remember the cars we had were used as funeral limosines during the week and hired out at weekends for weddings!
my mom and dad had that with their wedding cars too jacqueline they married in 1966!
