Look at all those beautiful cut flowers, they are going to make a gorgeous arrangement. Love marigolds!
Thanks!
Boiling water kills fire ants. One of my empty half barrel planters was infested and a kettle of water fixed it right up. One year I even carefully treated a vegetable bed without killing the plant.
I’ve done that in the past but this container is filled with spring plants and bulbs … I don’t want to damage the plants with the boiling water.
The coco marigolds look wonderful. All your cut flowers are gorgeous.
Thank you!
Absolutely so inspiring to see your harvest of your cut flowers beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!
I’m amazed at how straight your snap stems are!
I plant them close together so they support each other!
Oohh coco marigolds. I want some now
🌷🌷🌷
Love to see the rewards of all your hard work. 🤗🤗
🤗
Congrats to the winner! ❤ I loved seeing all that you harvested! I've started some statice, and I'm hoping it'll come back for me. It's going to be so much fun watching all of these grow and so exciting again come next Spring to see what survived! 💐
You are going to love statice!
The first time I grew marigolds, I grew Crackerjack marigolds. The only marigolds I was familiar with were the short ones they sell at nurseries. Imagine my surprise when they kept growing and growing. I think they ended up being about 4 ft. tall. 😅
So fun!
I grew the CrackerJack last year too and I was surprised by their lovely scent as well as their height, mine overwhelmed my pepper plants. 🙂
Vườn hoa trong rất đẹp ạ,cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ video phong cảnh đẹp nơi bạn sinh sống, 👍và follow ủng hộ bạn nè ❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕
🌷🌷🌷
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome!
I direct seed my marigolds. I treat the seeds like a pin and just stick them in the ground vertically. They all grow for me that way and don't blow away.
Such a simple solution! Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you!
hi, Congrats to the winner!!, I'm starting my zinnia seeds today, we have our last frost date at the end of May, but with this warm weather & climate change I"m hoping to see progress soon , enjoyed the info on mairgolds, I don't mind the scent either, Happy gardening, Ann from Ohio
Sounds great! Good luck with you zinnias!
Oh thank you so much for the seed starting lessons on marigolds. Mine had failed several times. These lessons are also teaching me how to use my Sun Blaster Nano Dome Mini Greenhouses in a more productive way. I do get confused about when to open the dome, how long to use the heat mats, and so on. You are a lifesaver. 😊
You are so welcome!
Congrats to the winner!!!
Those marigolds are absolutely adorable. I added them to my “research” list
🌷🌷🌷
Those gold marigolds are so pretty, can't wait to see them in bloom :)
Same!
Watching your harvest is like a preview of what we have to come in Michigan❤
I’ve grown the Coco marigolds and have buried the seeds down an inch and they sprouted in three to four days, so that’s one that you can direct sow.
Sounds great! Thanks for letting us know!
Beautiful flowers! Love the statice! ⚾️
Thanks so much 😊
❤

Loved this. I wonder if sprinkling vermiculite to direct sown seeds will help as place holders. Sun goes thru it to seeds and keeps them from drying out. Congrats to the winner!
That's a great idea!
Don Juan was the first rose I ever planted when I lived in Austin. You have a beautiful trellis for it!
Thanks! It’s actually an old headboard!
@@shesamadgardener I love it! Very creative way to repurpose!
Funny story I have the hardest time growing larkspur last year I tried to winter sow a bunch of seeds only got one plant so I planted it and loved the tall blue flowers. This year I decided I would try to place some seeds in the refrigerator on a paper towel to try to cold stratify and maybe have better luck waited a week and placed in soil to germinate well I waited and waited but nothing I gave up them and told myself I would never ever grow them well out of nowhere the plant I had success with last year I guess decided to seed itself and I have a bunch of baby larkspur everywhere in a bed i did not intend for them to be there now I’m like gah all that trouble for nothing but yet that plant decides to seed itself without any effort at all 😂
Yay for self sowing!
Love your videos! Have you planted up your gladiolus in their grow bags and the rest of your lilies?
I haven’t but I need to! Other things just keep getting in the way!
@@shesamadgardener I had to get the lilies in the ground today some of them were already 3 inches tall...and pure white...eek :)
Wow the verbascum is beautiful, did you grow that from seed? I live in central TX I would love to grow that beauty 😀
I tried growing from seed with no luck but I will try again. I purchased this plant from Bluestone Perennials.
I hope I don’t ask to many questions. I. Have never had winter garden being fro CO. So I’m wondering a lot when you mention fall sowing. I want to get tall snaps and Delphiniums started at some point I will try the trays you had ( tired of saving small pots ) any advice is helpful
I will be doing some videos in the summer showing how to start “hardy annuals or cool flowers” … the process is easy, it’s just all about the timing!
Beautiful flowers! I think one of my delphiniums made it .. beautiful but finicky! Would love to see your arrangement!!
Love delphiniums!
