That was lovely Pene, thanks so much and thanks to Pete for sharing his omelet stories with us. Beautiful grandchild, so special you get to spend time together x
It is so special. Great grand-child of course, but don't lets split hairs! I'll tell Pete, he's remembered loads he wanted to say but forgot on the day!
Thank you for a really interesting watch with so much to take in from the feast of rich activities. In the crafting section you talk of a fat quarter! Sounds like a pre metric measurement to me …made me 😂
Thanks for sharing. This was delightful. You have such an eclectic mix of subject matter. I never knew that fascinating fact about cows🤔. And I grew up on a farm! Your mouse fabric and ribbon is super cute. I like to use stitch markers as zipper pulls too. 😊 Great job on the applique quilt. Using the same fabrics throughout definitely makes it cohesive. I enjoyed hearing about Pete's time at the restaurant. What an interesting experience. Speaking in French. Wow. I mean, of course it makes sense but it isn't something I would ever have thought about. And of course seeing the baby was precious! Love the little slice of life. 🤗 Have a great week.
Thanks Karen, Amazing fact about the lambs and calves I agree. I can't wait to make the bag with the mouse fabric. I'll pass your comments to Pete, 'they won't be interested in that, he says'. So I'm glad you were. Another era!
Thanks for another lovely podcast it’s so nice listening to you so interesting about the baby animals…..we are always learning something new. Your lemon meringue pie looks delicious 😋. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you soon
You pack so much in Pene. I did think we'd meet the chickens at the end though. Homemade lemon meringue is delicious. I'm making a Pavlova tomorrow as my Dad and step mum are visiting and I always like to make something for visitors. Tommy is gorgeous and he's going to look really cute in his new jumper. I love seeing your quilts and take on board all your tips. I'm really touched that you've watched me from the beginning. Thank you. Xxx
Thanks Anita, It was a bit long this week but what bit to leave out?! A slice of my day. Hope you enjoyed your Pavlova, it's a favourite here. Chickens next time.
@@penelopeschinwag We had a lovely time. My daughter and her family came too. My dad and step mum hadn't seen my youngest grandson for 2 years. He's 3 now so he was just a baby. It was lovely to all be together and we all enjoy a homemade dessert. Xxx
I’ve had a lovely time again listening to your lovely podcast, while sitting here knitting a sock (which comes into the ‘easy’ category!)… I’m delighted that you’re enjoying your new bullet journal and that you’re already seeing the benefits! And speaking of “iron sharpening iron” I am in full agreement… and may be tempted to acquire the pattern for those beautiful songbird mittens!! xx
I love your chinwag and everything you share! 🥰 I enjoyed hearing Pete tell his story... SO interesting!! Thank you for showing pictures of the restaurant too! Your grandson's quilt is beautiful and so is the sweater you are knitting!! You're a very talented lady! Thank you for sharing with us! ❤️
Who knew!!! You revealed a life changing bit of info. Lard is now considered a healthy fat! You are right...I googled it and am very excited. Of course, I am also full of regret that I wasn't made aware of it before now. The best pie I ever made used lard, but I was then told how awful it was and have had inferior pie crust ever since. No more. Lard it is!!!
I’m so enjoying my “visits” with you. I’m going to have to try making lemon meringue pie again. Every time I tried (years and years ago) it all looked great until it came time to cut the pie and eat - - - then it was lemon meringue soup! I love the videos at the end! So relaxing. Salam wa sa’aadah
Hullo again! I have made this recipe for years and years and always comes out well and people love it, so give it a go. So pleased you enjoyed the video at the end. They are all in a separate playlist should you want to watch them. No talking!
Thanks for watching Tracey, I cook the pastry on 180-200C and then turn the oven down to 100C and cook the meringue at 100. I keep my eye on it for about half an hour until its golden and crispy. You're right baby is gorgeous.
Hi Dawn, It's the squishy project bag. Erica Arndt shows you how to make it. I didn't box bottom mine and you can make it any size you like. Hope that helps. ua-cam.com/video/VbzEAweKAyM/v-deo.html

What a gorgeous child xxx
I'll have to watch back to see who the gorgeous child is.

You and me both! I've got him tomorrow for the day. The happiest boy!

Can I ask what pattern you use for your large project bags please?
