Our whippet makes a very similar noise which the wife and I were laughing at when watching this video. He has his own basket but I have cover him with a blanket all through out the night or else he makes that whippering sound. Oh and often hops into the bed when it’s cold!
For crying out loud, let that sweet Whip snuggle. In Northern England and Scotland, Whippets were bread to be bed-warmers. Why do you think they are so clean and soft. Catching rabbits for the pot was a plus, but not as important as keeping the children warm in an unheated cottage.
Ohhhh. This so reminds me of our Molly who we lost 2 years ago. Fudge who is now 14 never has done it, weird how different they are but so lovely and soft. Nothing like the smell of cuddled up warm whippet toes.

My whippet is 17 and he still sleeps in mine and my wife's bed BTW no one cares but I'm only 27 and my wife is 27 but she's a month older seriously Francis (our whippet) will always get into our bed

@@mello2365 I hope you got a rescue and not a puppy. It breaks my heart that people get puppies. A real animal lover would only ever get rescues. I got a rescue whippet and was told he had lived with a child, so he was great with children (they usually are); the classic excuse is for people to say that they need to get a puppy because they have chidren.
@@truthseeker9975 Keeping a dog breed alive and well is a lot of work, many engaged people have to do. You should have some respect for that hard work.

@@jojotayles214 I am so glad! I used to take care of my friend´s two whippets and a saluki (when she could not) and they would all sleep with me on the 90cm/3feet sofabed. One between the legs, one on the side, one on the neck. I was effing boiling and suffocating from allergies and asthma but there was nothing better. The saluki has wrapped me around his finger just like your lovely Sonny-James has you! Give him a hug from a random person.
I can never go back to sleeping without a whippet under the sheets.
