- This is a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat with the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost. The engine provides 375 HP and 420 lb of torque. It's finished in Ruby Red Metallic with black leather interior. Rapid Spec: 502A.

I got the same truck just a year older mine is 2017 xlt 3.5 twin turbo whit 10 speed trans is really good almost 20,000 miles and flawless !!! Gorgeous reliable and strong... love it

bought the Ford f 150 crew cab lariat sport 4x4 6.5 long box, tow package with push button starter, panoramic sun roof, full heated leather seats,center gear shift, remote starter, remote soft rail gate opener, full blue HD lights with hd fog lights, 20 inch wheels,beautiful step bar, good space inside, big led screen,hd channel radio and sirex radio, auto wi fi, cd player, led lights inside, ac,dc power outlets and USB spots with Bluetooth also Navigation , blind spot sensor, 360 D back up camera collision alert ,B&O digital sound system,rear power window, everything power adjustments seats and steering, lifetime bed liner and Tonneau cover. double grill face,magnetic gray color tinted glass windows,5 seats,8 cup holder, soooo luxury truck.This truck is enough to keep forever. Everyone loves my truck.expensive,beautiful,great for working and family. Ford is the legend,Ford is built for tough. I am 100% satisfy this truck. If you don't have a free hand to open the tailgate, then how do you have a free hand to use the remote to open it?
Give the key to your wife or kid. They cant open it manually anyway.
I’ve never been in a situation where I couldn’t put the tailgate down before I brought whatever it is out. Even at the store you can park right out front and they’ll bring it out. I’m sure if you’re unprepared this could be “useful” for one time. I don’t know why, but some person obviously had a need for it.
It's funny as soon as he said that I came here to leave the same comment you did. Definitely an option they could have gone without. God forbid you have to manually open the tailgate. A solution for a problem that never existed. Nice looking truck, hope all those electronically controlled options stand the test of time.

Does 2015 mirrors extend like that also?
+Nicholas DiGiovanni great question! All of Ford’s towing mirrors extend like the ones in the video. However, the 2015 model is not powered, you have to manually pull it out. However, it does have power folding.

+dkhill27 they’ve really made some serious towing improvements with the turbo charged eco boost engines.
2018 has a max tow rating of 13,200 lbs when properly equiped.
what is the difference between XLT and lariat
It’s the options that come standard on the truck depending on what trim level you buy. There’s too many to name here. You can look at www.ford.com and it’ll break down the options for each trim level.
Atlas Auto Reviews yes a lot Option. However what is a better buy? I have a xlt fully loaded but for that money I could of got the lariat. Maybe you can a video and compare them.

jay suka the Lariat comes standard with the 2.7 Ecoboost V6, leather and only comes in either a super cab or crew cab. I believe remote start and a dimming driver side mirror are also standard. (On the XLT I think you have to opt for the 502a package to get those). From what I can tell visually the two trims look very similar (if not identical) as far as grills, chrome bumpers, and even the wheels. Both come standard with 18” polished aluminum wheels. Looking at dealer stock (supercab to supercab) I’ve seen XLT’s costing more than Lariats depending on the options...

If I’m going to spend this much on a truck it better have a V8.
