Yours is the best of the reviews of this product that Ive seen. Your sponsors will be glad to know I just ordered one.
if it's sponsored, it's not a review
You did a good job convincing me. They were smart to sponsor you. I preordered one just now. Couldn't use the B&H link since I'm in Ireland. The 30-day money back was the deal maker. Then I don't have to worry if I don't like it. I've always wanted something like this. I hope they add Davinci Resolve support also.
Ha! Same here. It's mad as well, as the Logitech EU HQ is in Cork. Loads of tech HQs are here, but we are still viewed as slightly extra. Which is weird, because it feels like there are a lot of creatives in Ireland with money to spare! (Don't talk to me about eBay defaulting to sellers in the UK!)
Great presentation, you are really good at this!
You had me half way through the video. I ordered one to try it out.
Pleased to see your cat still making appearances after all these years
It would be great if we could align the two pieces with an integrated magnet, on all 4 sides, so that it could be fully modular and also have induction charging.
Really well explained.
wow kinda crazy, didn't now about this product.
This is one of the best tech reviews i have ever seen.
Great production and Content. Thank you so much .
I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger on that streamdeck. ONLY think I wish they had done was add a USB C port to the dial pad, as I just would rather avoid ever having to swap batteries. I'm not as allergic to cables as a lot of people out there.
Agreed! Also wondering why they didn’t just make it t rechargeable like a mouse or keyboard
18 month battery life... we should be fine :D
I want just the dial.
That rotate with the dial looks amazing. I'm impressed!
I like the idea of the action button and wheel. I currently use the MX Keys and Mouse, this would be great for having to the side grabbing in conjunction with my mouse ❤
This is crazy. It's like everything a keyboard and mouse can do, but instead it's right next to your keyboard and mouse and you use this instead for only certain circumstances. Wild.
it's about small details adding up to faster/better editing. when you edit in conventional way, your eyes have to switch between picture and adjusting knobs. but with these products, your eyes won't leave picture while making slight adjustments. its not necessary but a good upgrade in workflow imo. i wish they were cheaper lol
Would love this for Davinci Resolve! I already have some Logi MX stuff
Excel freak here.
Any useful usage for that? It would be nice to see some examples in how it works there.
You could put your Excel macros library in a one touch press action.
informative . love you boss. appreciate it
Logitech bought a Loupedeck. This is a Loupedeck CT wannabie, split in two 🙂
Logitech DID buy Loupedeck in 2023 🤣
I was looking for smth like this. Thank you for the review!
Bali again🎉❤
I really like theseadditional pads things, it's just feels cool on your table, yes, BUT I always think that any even the most complex hotkey is always faster because you don't have to move your hand from the keyboard to another device. That's about any button, just key pads. But a big KNOB, maybe, gives you something that neither keyboard nor mouse nor touchpad can give you.
This thing is cool.
Love this. I wish it worked with an iPad too.
Looks super cool!
very nice product but i still prefer the loupedeck ct
Logitech bought loupdeck
Nice. Need to see how I could use this with Figma
will it work with resolve studio all pages?
All I want to know.
Unlikely, other than keyboard shortcuts. Unlike Adobe, Blackmagic wants to sell their own hardware.
@@Humcrush Blackmagic should do something similar then… that wheel is great but you have to buy a whole big ass editor keyboard…
@@copperhandsthe speed editor isn’t that big.
@@MrD3000 bigger than only the wheel.
Great video ZY - getting me thinking of the pros, especially coming back from a 2 week vacation and facing curating and editing 100’s of photos as well as lots of of video clips. I couldn’t find info on support of Final Cut Pro. Also, any comment about similar offerings from other manufacturers (knowing this is a product sponsored vid)?
Bought a TOURBOX more than a year ago. Cheaper, more programable, best thing there is. Haptic settings are amazing.
Agreed..the Tourbox Elite just hits different! Honestly, wouldn’t mind having both-flexing my creative console collection. The physical dial and haptics on the Elite? Game-changer. Logitech is cool, but Tourbox elite is still the GOAT
Looks pretty interesting, although not sure it is quite as complete as the Loupedeck Live - which is virtually the same price.
never tried but seems like it achieve what many companies tried and failed , I used the loupedec ct and had to sell it prety fast cuz it was really glitchy and poorly integrated with softwares like lightroom w/o mentioning that it was really expensive one advantage I guess is that it has many dials so u dont have to navigate through option to dial in.
How customizable is it? The loopdeck promised similar features but did not deliver. Biggest regret buy
Would you be able to use this the same way, and as broadly, as you can use Elgato's stream deck?
Theoretically this looks great but I wonder how the software will be...
I have a logitech mouse that I customized all the buttons as macros in Adobe suite programs, but the Logitech G Hub software is super buggy and I have to close and relaunch it constantly in order to get it connected to my mouse properly. It's frustrating and feels like half the reason I bought the mouse is negated. With this console, 100% of it's functionality is dependant on it connecting properly. I hope the wired connection means this will not be like G Hub.
Thanks for the introduction to MX Creative Console. Are other photo programs such as Luminar supported? Not everyone has Adobe programs! As with the X idea of the Costolo, this is an issue at all.
How do you connect Final Cut Pro and Resolve? I don't really use Premiere Pro.
Does it work on Lightroom on iPad? I only edit on iPad now days.
Is this only for Lightroom Classic or can I also use it for the Lightroom App/Desktop app?
Can you customize settings for other apps other than the adobe package?
Wow impressive! Does it work with Adobe Bridge + Adobe Camera Raw?
Does it have pre-built shortcuts for InDesign available? What an ad. I want to try/buy it now.
Hey does shortcuts work with PS Camera raw? Cuz i dont use LR.. Thanks
Interesting commercial, though it's worth noting that the product bears a strong resemblance to the Stream Deck by Elgato and Monogram’s offerings. It's surprising this wasn’t mentioned, but if it's a sponsored ad, it's understandable why that detail might be overlooked.
If it's a sponsored ad then they botched it because after 5 minutes of time wasted I couldn't find this item on the website link provided 👏
@@brettrawlings7394 The influencer violated the embargo agreement by releasing their video ahead of the scheduled time. But now it's available on the official website, with a different link of course.
Welcome to current era of UA-cam, it’s basically QVC or HSN just with an algorithm to target you.
He says in the first 2 seconds of the video that it's sponsored lol
@@ABP8214 its a bot comment, i saw this on one another video related to the Logitech MX Creative Console...
would i be able to set the dial to scroll for web browser and vscode?
Oh Bali 🇮🇩 looks so beautiful
Now we know why Logitech bought Loupedeck :D
Cool tech, does it work seemlessly in Blender ?
All the publicity shots on the Logitech have both units on the same side of the keyboard. Can you move them enough distance so they are on different sides of the keyboard?
I’m here for the cat. How much does it cost and are there modifying keys?
there are plenty to adopt for free at your local shelter.
How does this compare to Tourfactory Elite
You’ve heard of Loupedeck right? Logitech bought them a year ago. 6+ dials and more buttons and touch buttons depending on which console you get. This is a sad shadow of Loupedeck
can it be used for Davinci Resolve ???
will it be supported by Keyboard Meaestro or Better Touch Tools? Crappy limited Logitech software cripples this compared to original Loupedeck, streamdeck, or other pro level devices.
Also, no haptic feedback on the large dial makes this a "wait for v2" choice at best.
Wonder if this will have support for Figma
Do you think I can use the wheel to move forward, backward in a tutorial y VLC? Also increase or decrease speed ?
Try autohotkey keymeleon and set up those shortcuts there.
Davinci Resolve compatibility?
That might tempt me.
Hah! Not me.. I bring another typ of energy. I want it to be harder therefore I only use keyboard and monochrome mode when I do my work in LR
Can this work with ipad?
does it support da vinci resolve?
If Logitech offered a year of Photoshop and Lightroom, it would be worth it for me to try this. I have no need for the full Creative Cloud. That said, I find Logitech’s tablet driver to significantly slow down my M1 Max MacOS over time - after using it for a half hour or so. I only use it for brushing, for that reason.
I mean they offer 3 months of creative cloud when purchasing it. I would love to try it out, but the price seems a bit heavy.
As a professional I have learned oyu can't trust these product reviews from influencers...in 2 weeks I have seen 10 reviews of this product pop up and folks pretending this is some sort of new time saver... It's a stream deck and a contour in one box with a premium price point... I use the controur device it doesn't have graphic macros but it basicly does the same thing all in one device. I hate when a new device comes along because that means every inspiring filmmaker or editor will ask me my thoughts on its usefulness. It all works its just about how you use it in ur work flow and if u can integrate it and break ur current habits
you categorize yourself as "professional". But what does that mean? even hobbyists can have great skills that are more effective than these of so called "pros". So if such a device can help in some way, why not?
@Jaxplode I'm never gonna be an advocate for throwing money around in an already expensive field of work.... Companies throw devices at influencers and the transfer of that is fomo. I work with a guy who buys all the stuff. There are products in the market that does these exsft things at a fraction of the cost... In one week I saw 5 reviews for this product. I'd rather see a hobbyist get a useful affordable product becuase I use to be the hobbyist. Now I'm a professional with a trunk full of gear and devices collecting dust. I'm not saying I'm a pro as to seem better I'm saying I'm as a pro I can advise on what can be more practical and have more uses.
can i use it for OBS?
Does it work with Capture One?
Yes
Davinci resolve soon for this?
Bro, does it compatible with davinci resolve?
This isn't compatible with the cloud-based (non-Classic) version of Adobe Lightroom, is it?
Does it have an onboard memory?
Does it work with davinci resolve?
Why…? Why… Adobe…?! 😏Such a great device set (except the jog wheel not having a finger touch point for fast scrolling), that should have been made customizable for other software right from the start.
Works with FNCPX?
Do i need connect USB to PC or cna just plug for power in adapter?
I just want the dial, why they don't sell it alone
Looks like this is made exclusively for Adobe programs which is a bummer. Would love to see them maybe release a version for Davinci Resolve
Someone try it with Figma check if it worth the space on the workspace desk
noice. but i need something wireless. is there anything with button screens but it runs off of a battery?
Currently, no. Everyone offered is wired because of the lights and functionality. Batteries would die very quickly.
@@ABP8214 darn it. thought there must be something with low powered, i dunno… ink screens? haha, id be fine with ink screens, but i would like backlight though. which… cough… ink screens dont have? or do they? darn it. well, at least the wheel is wireless and whatnot. but on the other hand spending 200$ to just use half of the product is a bit of a waste, though. thanks.
Software looks suspiciously like Loupdeck😆
Logitech acquired the Loupdeck company last year.
capture one can ma?
Hope it won't double clicking and can buy separately
Please don't show white screen after a dark screen... I was blinded
Do two parts magnetic to each other?
No, they're separate. They are not magnetic.
@@ABP8214 strange
how to charge the second device with no cable?
Works with AAA batteries (2pcs)
@@erikapoldmaa3566 what is like in 90x. Very stange to see unchargable devices ob 2024
@@Baramburum123456 Never heard of bluetooth mouse which also runs on batteries? At least you can replace the battery, whereas with a rechargeable one, you’ll have to replace the entire device, which will cost you more.
@@erikapoldmaa3566 heart on this in 2000. Now is 2024 and it is Logitech, not Aliexpress shit for $5
@@Baramburum123456 Panasonic Eneloop Pro AAAs. Perfect for this.
Does this work in Lightroom or just Loightroom Classic?
Does this work with the non-classic version of Lightroom?
i like tourbox better. no display needed, just use memories, like playing playstation. no time to look at the controller.
Capture One capability?? 📷 🖥️ ❓❓
I don't believe that this Logitech stuff makes me faster. And paid UA-camrs can't really convince me otherwise.
Wires in this day and age equates to NO
Not quite understand how this "produced with renewable energy" works. Did they melt alluminium with it? Run their CNCs on it? Transported with it?
It's typically hollow marketing BS. But it also isn't that hard to imagine solar or wind generated energy being used during the production of the materials or components. Not super likely. But not implausible.
In my opinion, this newcomer to the market, Logitech, offers nothing that Loupedeck (taken over by Logitech in 2023) and Elgato don't have. For some, it will have too few dials, for others too few controls, for still others it won't be stylish enough, because after all, it's essentially just a shortcut handler. Added to that is the hefty price of 199,- preorder for both. I don't see a market for these Logitech products, only the finish is based on their own MX office line..., but is this market big enough? IMO, the product comes too late, is too expensive and the trust in the maintenance consistency and stability of the Logitech software at all does not seem limitless, or why is there Options+ in addition to the Logitech G-Hub? Sorry, I think that's a stillborn product. If you have waited for this products, something is wrong on your life...
Only Adobe compatible or does this have Capture One compatibility ?
Now try Lightroom superkeys lol
Is this only made to work with lightroom?
does it work with davinci resolve? and does it work with Logitech G Hub?
Yes, and yes.
I would be VERY surprised if the logi wheel worked like a Speed Editor jog/shuttle wheel (happy to be wrong). But the buttons can be mapped to whatever key combo you need.
@@bwest6275 i am more interested in the color page
you have black mouse, why this device is white?
짭팀덱😂
250€ simply too much; and it's only for adobe
this is just another pointless ad, you can get done your work about 50% faster with something really usefull like X Touch Mini ( lot of knobs and buttons and crazy flexibility ). Not so fancy and shiny but 3 times cheaper.
😪😪😪
tourbox is miles better than this tbh
