- A little intial thoughts on the new fantic xe 300 2 stroke after the first ride.
I'm very happy with the bike so far and was pleasently suprised after the first ride out. I allways thought my former 2 strokes where quite twitchy in this terrein but the fantic was quite stable. I have to get used to riding without engine break after riding 4 strokes for the last 4 years.
Bike is still bone stock. I only put mousses in the tyres and set the suspension sag to my liking.
Great video! Bike sounds amazing!
I would of like to hear it in the woods , just how torquey it is compared to the 300xcw say in 2nd & 3rd gear wet muddy snot , can it tractor ?
good video, thanks !
Wanneer verkoop hulle die Fantic in Amerika? Ek sal dit onmiddelik koop . Pragtige bike.
🤔Dis n jammerte.
Ek hoop dit verander 👍
@@endurojugHandlebarTank Hopefully Yamaha starts making a similar 300 for the American market.
@ yes that would be awesome.
Mooi ding!
5 speed 😢
Come on Yamaha/Fantic, get your act together and join the rest of the modern 2ts!
@@krazed0451 honestly i really like the 5 speed. On a ktm i wouldn't miss first Gear if it was broken. The 4t fantics do come with a 6speed now
@@HTAracing558 Every time I get on a 5 speed bike now days I'm always left hunting for one more gear. The 6 speed in my Beta 300RR has a great spread and I use the bike for everything from hard enduro style riding to open fire trails so the more spread in the gearing the better. I tend to find that if first gear feels useless I want to gear the bike up on the final drive to get better top end, too. The wider the range via the gearbox, the better IMO.
@@krazed0451 it still goes 135 km/h 82 mph it's not slow 1 en 5th gear has been changed. 5th is quite long.
Should have a case reed motor, much easier for top end rebuilds. Lower seat height would be good as well.
I think it does?
Yamaha 250yz based motor?
Definitely not a Ktm killer
@@trick-nd8fg based on? I've by now riden a ktm tbi exc i'm pretty sure the fantic is faster. I do think it's up to the terrain de more Technical terrain i think the ktm wins. But wide open on a sand track hands down to fantic.
