The reason why the race edition has a headlight and so on is that in europe you have to have a street legal bike for enduro races and i guess they didnt want to make two different race edition bikes for the european and american market.
Seat is softer, head light mask and light are different, I found the motor extra spicey, stronger in the mid range. can't wait for your take on it. rear axel is bigger, need new spacers for my spare wheels and bore out my read disc guard. Also the main frame spar is bigger, my Scott's steering dampner post mount no longer fits ! front brake pin doesn't have the aluminum cover.
Thanks Jared for going over the change points on the 2025 300 Race..Edition! Do you think there is much feel difference (while sitting on the bike) with the new radiator shrouds and side panels? Is the seat the same as 24 model - no change? Mechanical switch for rear brake light - wonder how that will work when muddy? Front brake light switch still a pressure switch? Same headlight bulb - no LED? I assume no jetting or suspension setting changes? Thanks for sharing so much Beta content!
The shrouds feel almost the same as the previuous ones. But the seat is much more softer than the 24 Version. I liked the hard seat, but this one is also great. Now you sit a little bit "in the bike" not only "on the bike" feels more precise..
i wonder how long itll take companies to make new disc guards. if you really needed to im sure you could just bore out the hole to 22mm on the older ones. also it looks like i could just order the 25 plastics and mount them up no problem on the older models.
I think the model designations are easier to follow than the KTM onslaught of acronyms. I hear race edition, and I automatically know its got the KYB suspension, and the much sweeter color combo! I also like the idea of having a headlight, i dont know many times I have lost track of time in the woods and have had to "Race" what was left of daylight to get out!
Xc= cross country (race version) Xc-w= cross country-wide ratio transmission (de-tuned and has a headlight) Sx= supercross (not really, but that's how I remember it.) Exc= street version (this is the only one that seems out of place to me) Add an "f" to any of these turns it into a four stroke.
I have heard you comment on the height of the reserve petcock a number of times. How difficult would it be for you to modify the petcock on your personal bikes? Set the reserve to your ideal position.
What model would you recommend for a upper c class/ beginner b rider east coast woods rider? I know you can’t go wrong with the kyb but i also hear that they are set up stiff. I ride on the weekends and do race time keeping enduros through out the year. I am 180lbs 5’6
They've been releasing each line of bikes a few months apart so I expect to see the 2025 RS models soon. They released the 2024 street legal "Race Edition" just a few months ago.
Because no one has it figured out yet. KTM has changed their design every two years. That doesn't seem like they have it figured out if they are constantly changing it. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
TPI was 5 model years, they are now on tbi. Both are figured out, tbi just works better injecting at the throttle body as opposed to the transfer port. However carburetors are great too. Beta or KTM you can’t go wrong.

Good looking bike. Got a 25 on order. I live in SC. Can't wait. Liking the few new changes you have showed us.
I think Jared will be my new dealer, my old one from NJ has turned his back on me!! Thank you, Allen
Town and country cycle center?
Yes
Why don’t you order them with the kickstarter
I have a 25 race as my first enduro ever. You can put a 13 or 12t sprocket on it to get it tamed. Its a beast!

Race edition is road legal in Australia

new shrouds look so good. love how they went to red radiator guards also, the white ones are impossible to keep clean
Sponge, warm water and soap 🤷♂😁
I have like 3 sets that are permanently stained. I could sit there all day with a magic eraser and they won’t get any cleaner 🤷♂️.
I may be wrong but it looks like a pain to add oil to the transmission; exhaust pipe in the way?
I don’t understand why they’d keep the turn signal/horn housing but not return the map switch to the handlebar
Would love to put the 25 300 rx subframe assembly and seat on my 24 300 re

@jakewatts8186 I was just exaggerating a little bit. Just like I would rather have to remove things like a headlamp if I did not need it.
I have heard you comment on the height of the reserve petcock a number of times. How difficult would it be for you to modify the petcock on your personal bikes? Set the reserve to your ideal position.
LED lights on the map switch are too bright at night, the do supply a rubber plug to fill in that space when you remove the switch.
What is your opinion on SmartCarb? Ive got a 2024 250rr with smartcarb and im thinking about going back to the stock carb.
Is the rr the enduro model then?
What year Beta and model do you prefer the most? Beautiful bike 🤙
Hmmm... I would go after a 2020+ 2-stroke / 4-stroke. The new bodywork/ features are nice starting in 2020. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Any idea what the stator output is on this bike?

I would suggest a 200 RR or a 300 RR 2-Stroke! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Looks like the Kawasaki nissin front caliper
Reiju❤
there’s no 2025 street legal bikes? are they waiting for 2026?
They've been releasing each line of bikes a few months apart so I expect to see the 2025 RS models soon.

Why no fuel injection ?

@ KTM Even now ?
Pretty soon Beta will have more alphabet soup than KTM.
