Steiger tractors are one of my favorite brands and I'm not even in any way related to the farming business! I've just always loved them for some reason, and find it sad that they were bought out, but at least they're still in production in some form.
bonjour. pour moi ses les meilleurs tracteurs articuler de tout les temps.je connais leur histoire et meme celui qui l' ont construit( les frere steiger).merci pour cette video.je ne conpremps pas la langue de chespyre, .pierre de france.congratulations.
I'm a John Deere kinda guy, but I love the lime green machines. Kinda blows that Case IH bought them out. At least kept the lime green as a color option
Sure the V903 has a Bad Decent Rep like the Cat 3208. But I think as always for everything... If you Service it Right and keep it Clean It'll last longer than the new junk,
Ive talked to a couple farmers whove had tractors that were powered by 903 cummins. They said they were reliable and powerful but horrendously bad on fuel compared to the competition. I dont know what others have experianced that just what these guys said.
Don't produce much torque either - gotta rev them quite hard to get any sort of decent performance out of them, which, as was already stated, makes them heavy on fuel useage.
Nellson Stout the only Pink Panther there is, the one the guy ordered pink because he hated green tractors, than a guy bought it and painted it Steiger green because he was made fun of, then it was painted pink again
The4014Gamer ForTheWin I know the story. I’m asking what your comment referred to. There’s 2 pink panthers. The real one is an ST310 on singles and it’s currently green. I’ve seen it for myself. Then there’s the fake which is a dualed up PTA-310. All you said in your comment was “forgot the pink one.” That’s what I asked about.
I grew up on 2-1976 Steiger ST270 Cougar lll's. Short stubby gear shift between your legs with a hi-lo on the top right dash. Oh...and an AM-FM 8 Track player that I lost my hearing to listening to ELO, Stix, and other noisy rock 'n roll. The power steering on both of them was B.A.D. They really sucked at power steering. Just look at the size of that Panther and imagine turning that thing around with lousey power steering. I pulled a 9-shank ripper, 40 foot rod-weeder, and a 30 foot disk behind them. I haven't seen them since 2006. We also had 2- John Deere 8430's. Much rather drive the John Deere's any day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

No computer tech. 100% more reliable than modern tractors. Pure fact!
One of my all time favorite tractors
Good awesome farm tractor s
Steiger and Big Bud have always been equals to me
What a classic tractor indeed,.it does appear to have the 10 speed drop box, which was prior to the release of 20 speeds.

BADASS
I sold my Dad's Steigers after his death. Glad they are local now in the UK
If I won the big lottery I would have a long driveway and a big tractor just to plow the snow

Sold mine one year ago, still big time regrets. That one had a Cat in it. Did it came with different engine options?
framfull yeah they did. The 310 had an 855, 320 and 350 had the 903 and the 325 had the 3406 Cat
OK, thanks. Mine eas the 3406.

They stopped using the v8s because of reliability issues and they don't have the lugging power of an inline 6
forgot the pink one
The4014Gamer ForTheWin it’s not there. It’s in Indiana
Nellson Stout I don’t even know where the Pink Panther is
The4014Gamer ForTheWin then what pink one are you talking about?

Was there a manual shift transfer case as well by the Hi-Lo range shifter?
