    Nice Job! I saw him at Day on the Green, Oakland Colosseum in 1985. He was amazing then as he is today.

    I always marvel at how he plays like that for an extended period of time. It is like come up for air. Just playing like that is a workout. Best of luck to you Yngwie!

    The whole problem with Yngwie, aside from having grown into his role as Ann Wilson’s big sister, is that by 0:28 in this vid you’ve already gotten everything you’re gonna get in the next 8:10. Dunno how a guy can be so great and so tedious at the same time

    그러나 아무나 잉베이의 휠과 감성은 따를수 없다

      잉베이가 했기때문에 속주락기타도 시작된거지 물론 발전을 하면 그에 맞는 천재들은 몇몇나오니 라이벌이나 그때 실력자는 비슷한 시기에 나온다고 속주기타리스트가 많이 나올 때지만 클레식에 속주에 메타리프에 모든 연주를 할수있고 감성까지 겸비한다는것이...

    omg he actually thinks that, that complete over-use of amps makes him a good musician, he is still playing that old sad tune, pretending it is a "masterpiece" omg lol :)

    • @69cohonas
      @69cohonas 9 років тому

      seriously he is just sooo redicoulous just a shame that you guys fall in the same boat !!!

    • @irmasil3
      @irmasil3 9 років тому +7

      +Jonas Bylund Actually it is a "masterpiece", lasting in the guitar community for 30 years and every single famous guitarist around swears by that tune, half of them declaring the man as the only single reason for them picking the guitar in the first place...

    • @69cohonas
      @69cohonas 9 років тому

      lol sorry for disagreeing with you, but what can he do except, play fast ?????

    • @j-psalmi8039

      +Jonas Bylund He has an incredible taste on the stuff he does

    • @irmasil3
      @irmasil3 8 років тому +9

      +Jonas Bylund He has (or at least had) incredible phrasing to begin with. Listen to the live solos on Alkatrazz tour and tell me this is not exceptional phrasing there. He has one of the most recognisable vibratos out there, actually his vibrato is the quintessential of an "in tune" wide vibrato. He has (or at least had) one of the clearest picking techniques of the last 60 years (since electric guitar was invented), and one of the most economic styles in picking. He has at least 10 memorable tunes (when others struggle to make one in their whole career) that even Kurt Cobain would recognise in the first hearing, that lasted the test of time for more than 30 years. He is pointed out to be a major influence of modern guitar Gods such as Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Jeff Loomis, John Petrucci, and countless more. He is responsible for for bringing the "neo-classical" genre to life getting what Ritchie Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth would do into stardom levels, making bands like Avantasia nowadays exist because of him. He is the major cause of many guitarists today having a job and getting money as professionals. And he is the major cause of new guys buying guitar in the first place. So thats what he does except from playing fast.......
