painful to watch him mount that router without countersinking the screw heads
lmao... was thinking this a joke right?
I hope they show when He realizes
hilarious
Very painful to watch indeed.
How did you bypass the safety switch? This sets automaticly when you raise the router to full height to change cutters.
I very much enjoyed how unpolished this video was. Good stuff!
good evening,
i would like to buy a routertable too. better KREG or CMT INDUSTRIO?
Ray Charles could have seen those screws weren't going to work. He could also see what a nice setup that is 👍🏾
It’s their a tool that you can insert through the table to lift the router bit? I would I assume you would have to drill a hole also.
With the Kreg Router Table setup, it comes with a couple sized plates to fit the hole which is for different sized router bits. This particular router has a knob that you can adjust the height of the bit which is the reason I purchased it in the first place. What an awesome feature, right?
You also need to remove the plunge spring from the router before you install it on the table.
What if we don't?
Such nice tools with no regard for details. Lol. Hope things go better for you next round.
at least you caught your mistake. Everyone has to learn and have fun with your new table and router
Funny video. Thanks for posting
That router is a beast!!
I love it so far.
I just got the table put together, does your fence slide even back n forth? mine want to grab and stick going back in forth. any suggestions?
Yes, it should slide back and forth smoothly. It has a twist lock on the other side and a flap kinda lock on the other. The twist lock may be the problem. That's the only thing I can think may cause this issue. Was the twist lock installed correctly?
@@dovesdiyconstructionreview1742 yes it was in there correct to the directions. still havent figure out why it catches sometimes.
Perhaps check the plastic bushing guides and see if they are not out far enough.
buenas noches, no hablo su idioma, pero podría indicarme el diámetro y el paso de rosca de los tontillos para sujetar la placa inserto a la fresadora. Creo que son de rosca Whitworth, pero aquí usualmente se usa rosca métrica
Saludos y gracias
Thanks for the video. I’m considering purchasing this exact same setup from Home Depot myself! Question: when raising and lowering the router, are you reaching underneath the table to do so or are you using the crank that they sell to adjust it above the table? It’s like a hex wrench that sticks down through a hole in the table so if the router was inside of a cabinet you wouldn’t have to open the cabinet and reach under etc. if you are using that, do you need to lock the router depth adjustment after you turn that crank or can it be adjusted while the lock is engaged? I am only going to buy this router if it acts like a true lift. Thank you!
Hey Jonathan, my set up includes the Triton TRA001 which you can raise and lower with the turn of a knob. It makes life so much easier! I does have another knob which just locks the height from settling on you while you are routing. I have done 5 boards or so at a time without the lock being engaged but the vibration will eventually make it settle on you so definitely lock it in to prevent that from happening. Definitely an easy thing to do. Both knobs are just rotated by hand, no tools needed. Here are the links for both:

really had no clue those bolts would be an issue
They do make a “countersink” drill bit and use two drills!
Unsure how your going to router anything with those screws protruding. Good luck.
I appreciate the video, but you should really go for the version with a crank that allows adjusting but hight from the top - need to drill another hole in the Kreg plate for that. The Triton also has auto spindle lock when it is raised all the way (when in table)
The Triton TRA 001 does have the adjustment dial which I love. Just raise and lower with the turn of a knob. I wouldnt have it any other way.
As a few people have commented,
The Triton router comes with a crank handle which is inserted through the router plate allowing height adjustment from above.
(Read the instructions)
@@robertmurray153 Correct. I just opted not to use it. I prefer getting eye level with the table to precisely line my cuts up. Seemed pretty pointless to install it for me.
Geir Leirvik The Triton TRA001 comes with a crank handle, but this idiot has no clue what he’s doing!
@@darrellreed7044 Why be like that man for no reason. Be nice or don't post.
Mickey Mouse to the max
You need a second drill man
I got like 4 lol. It's easier to just change the battery out sometimes. I get ya for the bit changing. That would have made it a little easier.
