When films were films no cgi no far fetched story just pure action and no bs definitely one of my favourite movies and if you ask me Arnie played a blinder
Well, they might've used CG in some of those movies, but yes, their focus was on the quality. Great stories with good characters, and actually caring about what they did, and not just trying to get a quick buck as cheaply as possible.
A cop going undercover as a Kindergarten teacher isn't far fetched at all? Then again, reality tends to make fiction look normal in comparison, so maybe it isn't.
@ZeldaEd123 in our politically charged world you better believe the state would infiltrate schools under cover. Why else do you think more and more schools are activists camps?
5:30 Love how they deactivated the brake lights so that the car could come almost to a dead stop before the impact without the brakes showing. What a laugh.

That baseball bat strike to her arm definitely broke that ladies forearm in half 😳 the 2nd one knocked the air outta her and possible cracked her sternum ouch
@@somnuswaltz5586 Well in the context of the story, maybe that was how hard she hit her. Besides, the "grandma" had to be at least 60 years old in the context of the story. Pretty sure human bones aren't as strong then as they are in your 20's and 30's. The actors themselves probably didn't get hurt at all, but the characters suffered injuries, obviously.
It always struck me how earlier in the movie John Kimbel tells the children that the ferret never bites, and later he bites Crisp. Even the little ferret knows who the bad guy is.
Yes, but when you're talking about a convict who isn't right in the head that's more paranoid than Dale Gribble from King of the Hill, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise. I mean, the guy was willing to burn down a school, punch Dominic's mother in the face, and even have his own mother get in on the ordeal just to take his kid away from his mother and likely put him in a toxic environment.
Toxic would be putting it too lightly. If the Crisps were successful in abducting Dominic the kid would have likely gotten killed along the way. Thankfully Kimble and O’Hara were there to save the day
"You're not so tough without your car, are ya?" 😂 In German sync she said: "Ohne Ihre blöde Karre sehen Sie ganz schön alt aus, Lady!" I like this even more.

This is an excellent example of a totally realized movie and climax. It's intense and not entirely predictable. There's some good acting here as well as some serious moments of distress. The pacing is good and structured well. I forgot how good this movie actually is. The memes are funny, sure but there is a lot of heart in this movie. It's probably one of Arnold's better performances as both a comedy and a thriller.
I kind of sympathize with the father here. She did lie about him being in france and now his own son doesn't know him. That would drive a loving father insane.
Geez, all those kids screaming and panicking during the fire while Kimble's class evacuates calmly... my, how the tables have turned compared to the fire drill earlier! Good thing the school had a fire sprinkler system; my public schools don't have any! (Though my high school will obviously get fire sprinklers as part of the planned expansion and renovation.) I like the teenage couple making out in the teacher's lounge, oblivious to the fire; obviously it's a K-8 school. (Funny enough, the elementary school I went to for kindergarten actually became a K-8 school in 2006!)

"Freeze!" "AAH!!!" "Don't you know the building is on fire?" "We thought it was another drill." "Well, get out!" "Yes, sir!" That's one of my favorite parts of this movie. LOL. Also, why did they think it was just another drill if the hallways were smoky and one of the stairways was up in flames? That's a wakeup sign to know that it's the real deal. Did they think they would be safer on the upper floors? That's still unsafe because the flames could still quickly spread through the halls and to the upper floors resulting in the school burning down entirely. They're extremely lucky that it didn't because they would've been seriously hurt or killed. Good thing Kimble demanded them to leave when he did.
3:55 this movie still makes me remember the time when I saw Batman the animated series episode of see no evil as Kimberly was almost kidnapped by her father until Batman showed up. 7:56 good ferret. 8:00 you’re terminated! 9:29 you got whacked the baseball bat, lady!

One has to ask, why didn't the kids just go out the windows instead going into the hallway that was full chaos, panic, smoke and fire. However, despite the fact the kindergarden classroom appears to be on the first floor of the building, the windows in the classroom indicate they were raised ruling the possibility of the kids simple going out the window.
