The fact that s23u is compared to s10+ means that the s10+ was really built to last and its very rare to find a phone with this type of quality.. I still use my s10+ and not thinking of upgrading yet ..
I got it dropped on the floor and broke the backside with camera a little bit, also my charging port does not work so I charge only as wireless, but true, amazing phone.
Oh! Easily lasts >2 years. 3 years if you're not a tech nerd.
Im upgrading my s10+ 1tb for the s24u 1tb. The 10+ has been an excellent phone! my friends with newer iPhones even state how they prefer it's photos to theirs. Super excited for the upgrade!

Upgraded from the S10+ and am very happy with my S23U. Though its not expandable storage anymore its all well and good considering I got the free storage upgrade from 256 to 512Gb. Battery life is dope on the S23U! It can last all day which my S10+ couldn't do even when it was brand new, no regrets here.

Same here :) On my S10+ I've got only 4 hours of screen on time recently, while the S23 Ultra can take this period to the massive 8 hours :)
I hope you are aware of the psychological trick about rising the price in an absurd way and than "gifting" you an upgrade, which you already paid for it.

I wish i never swapped my s10 plus for the Z Fold 3. That z fold broke quick and samsung voided the warranty. I went to Motorola but dropped it in water so took the good deal on s23 ultra. I finally feel like im back to my s10 plus days. This s23 feels like the 2023 s10 plus with an s pen. I love it
The question is, does the s23 ultra justify the 2000 eur price tag ? I don't think so. I am sure if u put S23+ against s10+ the differences will be unnoticeable. I tested both cams on local samsung dealer and there was literally no difference between S10+ and s23+
It's not 2000eur. More like 1200-1400
the biggest difference is in the price, so the s23U is not worth it at the moment
The s23 ultra is definitely better than the s10, but there's not really a point in upgrading if you do everything on your phone just fine.

I change my mind because I am very happy with this phone and it was worth switching despite the price, I am satisfied.
the camera is already a professional tool, what's interesting, when you shake it, you can hear knocking in these areas, but they have that because of the construction of the camera - such a curiosity :) on the official website of samsung there is more about it. anyway i recommend this phone
@@Tymass Wow man congrats. Some people are really attached to there old phones(Including me)to the point they don't think newer phones prices aren justifiable but when you actually make the purchase you take all of it back and notice the huge jump from your old phone.

S23 ultra has no SD card, no headphone jack is just a function less phone:(
And no oxygen and heart rate meter

Make a comparison between the 64MP photos of the regular S21 versus the 50MP mode of S23 and S23 Ultra. You will be surprised how awesome 64MP daylight photos the S21 one had couple of years ago. :)
I have both of these phones. S23U is a massive upgrade. I love mine but i also had great times with my old friend the s10+
no headphone/mic jack on s23 ultra... dang thats a deal breaker... i use external mics and audio players all the time.. i made that mistake once already, never again!
Aside from essentials like sufficient battery capacity, ergonomics, and connectivity, both the camera and an external memory storage capability matter to me most. My S10+ fits the bill, perfectly. I do not game on a phone...so this is not important to me at all. I did change out the battery (did it myself) on the S10+ about 1 year ago; cost me $50 in total for the battery and new back (with pre-applied adhesive). With the software settings, I keep the phone battery set to 85% max charge (for battery longevity) and have magnetic-coupled charging cables for the office, home office, and car. At 85% capacity, I never see my 10+ running low given the proximity of convenient top-off charging. Sure, the camera's on the S23U are compelling...but not enough for me to give up my S10+. It's been too good a phone to consider the grass greener with another near term upgrade.
PS: The S10+ also delivers LDAC audio capability; with the software in dev mode and LDAC toggled on. Perfect when paired with a BT unit like the FiiO BTR5.
Was it easy to change battery
For me the headphone jack is why I go back a few years for flagships. I cant stand wireless headphones. So I would buy the S10 plus for a fraction of the S23.

Just ordered S23U today after i used S10+ since it released but now got issues with speed, battery plug falls out and have no volume buttons anymore (fell out a year ago just like byyyye lol). Not really a fan of big phones but this definetely will be my first and prolly favourite phone (:

It is a very worthy upgrade and you won't regret it! S23 Ultra has a 5,000 MAH battery and 45 W charging.. Battery life is comparable to the kind Apple has on their iPhone 14 series..
I miss SpO2 and heart rate monitor (I had note 9 and upgraded to S 23 ultra).

I've just traded in my note 10+ for the 23U. I'm still using my note 10+ because i haven't gotten a screen protector yet. I haven't even posted it up yet. I saw a video the other day when another you tuber had his 23U in his front shorts pocket just to get groceries and when he got home he showed the micro scratches and i couldn't believe it. I'll not use it until i get a screen protector. I traded in my note 4 for my note 10+ and was amazed. I'm sure I'll be just as excited when i finally turn on my 23U. Thanks so much!!! this video really came in handy. Recently broke my note9(yup... old but i paid it off and didnt see a need to change) . Anyway it was more affordable with my phone company to get the 23 ultra so decided to buy my partner a newer device than they had, since there were issues with their phone as well. i was worried it might be an inferior buy, but now i feel better.

just replaced the 10plus and 23 ultra and it only because i was out of space storage. oh and i got a burn screen cause of over using😂.

I have the s10 plus 1Tb, 12 Gb RAM version, with a ceramic back. Best phone I have had, and still competes. I am defintely keeping it as a backup at least. Since I like sampling from my phone to my MPC X, the headphone jack feature needs to stay in my life a bit longer

I have both the s10 plus and s23 ultra and it's no comparison battery and performance wise but the s10 plus had. Important features like micro sd card
I just bought a s23ultra alongside my s10+ because the batterie of my s10+ didn't do that well after 3 years of intensive use. I'm still keeping my s10+ though. It has never failed me when it comes to performance.
I've kept the 10plus until now, too, as I loved it, but battery life is really starting to annoy me a lot, 1-2times recharging per day is the minimum. It's still solid, no scratch or whatsoever and I really like the design. Brilliant display. But the camera is wearing off. summer daylight pics are great, but low light, indoors or movement? Not so much. Gonna switch to Honor Magic 5pro this year, as the 23ultra is just too expensive.
Depending on your carrier S23U may not be that expensive. I have s10+ love it but Att told me yest. If I do a trade in I'll get $800 credit toward $1000 s23U...I'll have to pay $200 over 36months (that's how they get you) but been with Att almost 20yrs don't plan on leaving upgrading this weekend 🤷♂️🤷♂️
