I own the Supernova version and have it connected via the 3080 eGPU do the Odyssey G9 and it's a beast! Having this setup you won't need a gaming PC/Laptop and tablet anymore, so there's where you can save money in the end.

One might be better running the higher res screen set to a lower res in game and take advantage of no tearing. All display options are pretty ghosty. If you're rich and have the XG Mobile 3080, then you probably have an external display anyways. Edit: Btw MOBhouse, props for a very well produced review video! Hm... They are vey different machines ans serve very different purposes. If you game, get this. If you don't, get the macbook air. Also, if you want more GPU power for something like Davinci Resolve, this is better because of the external GPU.

This one is specifically for this laptop. If you use an intel laptop with Thunderbolt, technically, you should be able to use amy Thunderbolt external GPU.
@@championsofodin9868 No, it has no thunderbolt. This interface is better, getting more out of the GPU, but the downside is that you cannot use any other eGPU. If you want to upgrade it has to be to another dock from Asus if they release that.

This laptop is perfect for an engineering student like me (without xg Mobile); can take notes with pen, really good cpu, portable, decent battery life
