Hi mate great vid - thank you. I am going to head to Cosmedica in Sept. Did you do the needle free injections and do you think it’s worth it ? Don’t enjoy the old injections. Coming from Melbourne to do it so a long flight back and will defo stay another day. 😊
Hello my Melbourne brother! Okay so that’s a good question.. because one of the notoriously uncomfortable/painful parts of this whole procedure is the anaesthetic injections,, everyone says the same.. So.. I did pay extra for the ‘needle’less anaesthetic’ and the best way I can describe it is it’s basically like a staple gun.. it’s like a lancer that they prick your finger with to test blood etc,, it still stings a little and it’s used around 12-14 times every inch or two around the outer part of your hair,,, BUT once this is done,, you will still have a proper needle anaesthetic administered across the head in like an ‘every 2inches squared” part of your head so probably about 20 injections, you just grit your teeth and bare it… it prevents a lot of the pain you would go through without it,,, I would probably do the ‘needle’less’ injection gun again because it’s pretty quick and gets you introduced/prepared for what’s to come within that first 10 mins or so haha ‘no pain, no hair gain’
Thanks for the video. Good tips & info. I’m finding the whole hair transplant thing and finding the right clinic an absolute minefield. Cosmedica one of the main names on my list.
Great information. I’m thinking of using Dr.Acar too. I’m a bit worried because it’s Turkey and all the stigma that goes with it, but it sounds like it’s all positive
Yeah mate gotta think that it’s one of the best destinations to get it done, a lot of uk places actually have Turkish surgeons doing the work n u pay UK prices for it, out there it’s like a conveyor belt of hair transplants being done at clinics, it’s like getting a tattoo,, put a bit more into the budget and you’ll get a better quality job, pay ur cousins mate around the corner to do it for cheap n it’s gonna look a bit cheap,, so worth spending mid range price to get a decent one,, avoid the cheap cheap places that charge 1000-2000 n go for the 2500-3500 range
Yeah it could save you some money to add it on I’m advance, I paid like £50 at the airport, you’ll probs be given ‘a moisturising foam’, a ‘first month shampoo’ and some extra ‘after first month shampoos’ and usually they are in 200-300ml bottles, hope all goes well! It take it ur going very soon?
You can pay a little extra to get Dr Acar to do the whole thing but his technicians are all a very high level, so having a changeover of 6-8 different technicians each doing their bit is fine, I would probably do the same again, mine was with her technicians
Great tips, everything on point. Thank you for taking the time to shoot this video!
