Dumbest shit I've ever encountered. It makes being a military spouse extremely hard in the Radiology field in California. I'm going broke just trying to get a job. But thanks for the info!
I agree. This caused me many, many hours of frustration. Best thing to do, if you are going to try and work in California is bite the bullet and just get it done as fast as possible. I highly suggest taking a class. I'm took mine at the VA in San Diego many moons ago. It was with Bill Jessup and went over everything that was going to be on the test over the course of a couple weekends. Without it, your job options are greatly reduced. Good luck.
Yeah, I am dreading studying fluoro again. I just submitted the paperwork and check for the CRT-F license, so I am looking into classes now. I will keep Bill Jessup in mind! Do you have any idea an estimated amount the actual exam costed you? Was it over $100? I am trying to put aside money just to acquire these licenses (I am also a pharmacy tech, and always like to get my license in case it is hard to find an X-ray job.) Thank you for your advice.
Fucking hate fluoro. Taking my test in two days. Been studying Kettering and the yellow Lange textbook. Hopefully it works out
how did the kettering and lange text work for you? looking for study materials. Even considered the ASRT online stuff, but thats damn expensive.
