Just unboxed mine. It's a quality product, albeit one that is obviously overpriced. For what you get, I'd say this would be more appropriately priced in the $220ish range. Beautiful case, solid steel book, okay watch, standard patch, and very cool game way of providing the game token.
Nice review! I don’t understand people are buying this.. its literally a pretty cheap smart watch! Yes i got it to! But if it wasn’t for work, i would not have bought it myself. I’m a big fan of collectors editions! But the last few years things have gone a little out of control pricing wise
I was just wondering about getting this version, if it wasn't so darn expensive I would've in a heartbeat... I totally agree on the collectors editions have turned really, like reeeeally expensive in the last few years and many are really silly with no game included! How darn expensive can it be for the company to include their own game...
Hey, can anyone tell me what is the blue barn on watches screen under battery indicator? Its showing when I have screen on Time/date, then under time and date there is white bar for battery % and under battery bar is sth what looks like blue dot or blue stripe (right under battery white bar) I dont know what is it anyone know? Geek Culture have it in this video at 10:26 but his isnt blue his is red... when I turn on buletooth it turns blue is is it just bluetooth connection indicatoir?
Its such a cool looking watch and case.. Sad to see that it relies on an app to work.. That means they have to work on updates with new os releases. And bethesda exists to make money..Why spend the money when its not making you any money? I wonder how long the support is going to last.
I was tempted by this although price definitely put me off but I can appreciate the work that went into designing it etc making it great for hardcore fans. I went with the steam game and starfield headset in the end. Very happy with the headset and look forward to playing the game
@@BreadBirb9628 I guess an item is sometimes only worth what people are willing to pay. I don't think this is comparable to a latest model apple watch or Samsung gear smart watch for that matter in terms of functionality and apps etc. Each to their own though. It is a cool looking item for fans of the game regardless with a few impressive features that interact with the game
Super disappointed with the major and obvious design flaw of this box. That red latch does not stay secure, it is so loose that if you pick it up and turn the box it just flops open. Considering the attention to detail they have with the rest of the thing, I don't understand how they didn't add some magnet system or design it to snap more securely when closed. tsk tsk
I got mine delivered from Best Buy and it came damaged and some stuff inside was broken and they can't exchange it cause it's sold out everywhere 🤬 just my luck
I’m waiting until people start selling these things pre owned for less than $300. I just want the case and the code metal credit token. That metal token would make a great necklace! I don’t event care if the code has been redeemed already because I already own the game on my series x Halo Infinite edition.
@@vDaNi3Lz I have two PC’s; a 2016 IMac 27” and a three year old Alienware setup. I prefer to run on Xbox as I use my PC’s for work and filming. I don’t care for 30FPS, as long as the game works, I don’t care what the FPS rate is.
It would be cool if you could sync the Apple Watch Ultra with the game. That watch is pretty lame glad I didn't purchase it after seeing in no touch screen what year is it.
I had it preordered, canceled it at the last moment and just got the digital deluxe. Saved myself 200 bucks. I only really wanted the box anyway the watch was trash to me.
Steelbook is waste of material and only adding to the price. Todays titles are download only. Even if you were getting a disc, you have to download additional stuff. Especially with Greedy-gabes Steam plattform. I dont understand, why they add such stuff to a collectors edition these days. No matter what they pack into it. And what is it with "digital artbook and ost"? Why no physical? Im a bit underwhelmed by the stuff you get for the price tag. Only the first story dlc (which was cut out of the game, if they announce it already)? Why not ALL upcoming dlcs? For that price tag I would expect that. The box for the watch is a heck nice idea! It "looks" nice. But knowing Bethesda, it is only the look, not the quality.
Worst collector's edition I have ever seen IMO 1. The price... absurd 2. No physical disc 3. No physical artbook 4. No figurine 5. No stickers/books/other stuff I give it 3/10 Now compare this with Cyberpunk's collector edition... 1. Beautiful box with DEV team signatures 2. Physical discs (soundtracks for PC - 2CDs) 3. Steelbook 4. Artbook 5. Keyholder 6. Stickers 7. Stiches 8. Pins 9. Massive figurine 10. 200$
I would argue a smart watch - an actually usable product that you can wear on your body as a functional device - is much cooler than a figurine, stickers, etc. that's just standing around collecting dust.
Good argument, here is what I think. I think most people don't wear watches, and those who do prefer the real mechanical ones and those who don't would take either the apple or samsung smartwatch - to pair it with their phone's ecosystem, take calls through the watch, pay with it, voice commands, those have also water resistance, etc, etc. The Starfield watch is pretty simple watch for 200$ - no touch, no calls, no payments, no voice commands - so basically you are paying 200$ for a kid's watch that counts your steps and has a flashlight. Eventually the battery will run out, do you think it can be easily replaced? I hope so... I don't like figurines, too nerdy for my taste, but at least it will last much longer than some pretty low grade electronic watch... Only the keychain from CP CE is better than this crap, sorry... Easy money for bethesda though so no worries.
@@AltsekBUL To each their own, some people prefer simplicity and practicality than a dangling useless keychain and other rubbish that would take up a lot of space.

I would honestly rather this kind of physical bonus. It's a pretty genuine part of the game and it's practical and subtle. It can be worn daily.
