The 2.0 sits between the 3.0 and the 86 GT, and I think it’s the best car. Looks better than the 86 and it’s way faster. Lighter than the 3.0 and $10k cheaper here in the US. Plus dealers are marking them down $5000 off MSRP.
I agree. I just grabbed my 2.0 on that deal. Its definitely enough for me. Theres so many hate in the car community that I find hilarious just because it's not a 3.0. Like ok own one & come back to me
@@JulietActual car community has been toxic. Everyone has different driving preferences, so let people enjoy what they drive. If you are happy with it don’t bother what others say.
I got a 2022 2.0 last month and they marked it up about $15k. I could have gotten a 3.0 for the price, but I didn't want a used supra as people have been beating them up before the break-in period. That being said, I still love my 2.0. I initially planned on upgrading whenever they were available, but I think the 2.0 is more than enough
@@JulietActual they charged me about $57k in December, 2021. It’s ok, I agreed to pay that much and I wanted it at that moment. In hindsight, a little bit of patience wouldn’t have hurt

tuning the 4 cylinder car is trash and a waste of time, sad. I was hoping it would be significant difference like the 3.0 version. back to waiting for GR86.
The 2.0 is the better car. Lighter, better steering, can be tuned to make massive power. Don't understand people's obsession with how many cylinders there are tbh.
To me the 3.0 is the weekend/track toy, the 2.0 is for those who'd use it as a daily, but you can still take the 2.0 to the track and still have fun too. If you like to show off and care about what other ppl think, definitely get the 3.0.
You already pointed out the car was better to drive than you thought - but you have to rely solely on power to have "fun"? I thought Europeans liked corners. Only the Americans seem to be the ones praising (or caring about) the fact that the 2.0 rotates faster and harder.
To be honest, for us the slightly better cornering performance (it's not a huge margin at least on the road) doesn't make up for the better power output, sound and general character of the bigger inline six engine. It's still a good car, don't get me wrong - But I'd always go for the I6 version :)
hey there! im about to buy the 2.0T supra because the taxes of 3.0L in my country is pure nonsense (3k euros per year), is tthere anyway i can buy the tune and flash it to my car by my own?
This is a trash tune… or engine is not mod friendly. Most turbos cars I know all gain 50whp with just dialing up the boost a few psi. Evos, Sti, other bmws, porsches… you name it. This is a dam shame. Why???
So I am searching for the answer but can not find it. What is the difference between the 2023 JCW Mini B48 engine and the Supra 2.0 B48 engine? Is it possible to swap a Supra 2.0 B48 engine into the JCW? Just asking for a friend. LOL
hi, i got the GTS black chip for my 2.0 supra. honestly it made the car remain stable in its acceleration from rolling speed in a more stable way. i did not put anything else. i think im good for now. but if i wanted a race performance car i could have bought a C63 or something . but this car is personally attractive to me since i was 5 years old. i just want it. if you wanna get true performance get the 3.0 and modify it but honestly its a personal choice.
or if you're a true diehard supra enthusiast, you'll just swap the 2.0 out with a real supra motor, aka the 2jz w/ the v160 transmission. Which is A LOT easier than swapping out a 3.0 engine. That's my goal at least..
How many real hp have you won thanks to the chip? I have the same car as you and I am thinking of buying the chip. But I don't know if I can because my switchboard is blocked because the car is from 2022... Thanks
@@IReahpZz This video was not about running the Supra 2.0 stock. They tuned it and couldn't gain that much HP with that BMW built motor. I would also like to remind you that they're marketing this Supra 2.0 as a sports car and the Accord 2.0T is a family sedan. The Supra 2.0 (in stock form) is only 0.5 seconds quicker to 60mph than my grocery getter (in stock form), and barely a full second faster on the 1/4 mile.
@@PEREZCHOOCH you realize that's an eternity in a drag race right? And the accord isn't touching the supra in corners at any speed or any track. Nor is it out shifting or even out featuring the supra? Your accord can make 400 hp with the type r turbo and still goes slower than this car with 305 😂 its not a comparison hell your car tuned makes less power than a stock fusion sport that costs less when new.
@@PEREZCHOOCH and quoting mag times isn't helping avg 0-60 is 6 seconds on the street with the accord while the supra is repeatedly a high 4s car. Literally a bus length by 100.

wow really? I'm thinking of getting a 2.0 Supra myself, 5k off MSRP sounds really good.
The beginning of this video? Hilarious! 😂😂😂 Thank you.
Honestly 18hp gain on a turbo car isn't really much...if this was like a 40-50hp gain then we'd be talking
its a 2 liter, what u expect really
you can still get an actual tune for better results these chips dont do much
My thoughts exactly
@@leonardlitanius7078 i make 310hp with the same engine
Turbo cars tend not to pickup horsepower as much as torque. Even with tuning. Unless you put a bigger turbo or remove the cats
Is your chip tuning legal in germany? Is the TÜV included in your price?
We do have TüV-Teilegutachten vor a lot of different cars/engines.
Feel free to check our homepage!
Will this trip a check engine light?

back to waiting for GR86.
Get a Golf 7 GTI Clubsport. Any tune will add around 80-90ps.
there is a tuned 2.0 doing 0-60 in 3.5 seconds

Sure do appreciate you guys taking the time out to do videos in English
For 20hp it’s not worth voiding ur warranty
So no intake, downpipe nor exhaust mods? Then this is pretty decent.

Well the Mk4 supra the 4 cylinder was the track car and 6 cylinder street as the 4 banger was quicker around a track.
2.0 sounds sporty, than the 3.0 which sounds a bit muscle

Thats trash, 18hp😂 70 hp is what real tune does or more and the tq is just a bump then dies off also bad tunned😂
I'd say put JB4 on it and custom map tune with eBlend
Just buy the 3.0 I promise it’s worth it !
My experience it’s always a let down buying the base models. You think of what you could’ve had the entirety of owning the vehicle

Did you end up doing anything to it?
Did you buy it?
That is the motor for the BMW 330i, the results might be the same like in the Supra?
at least people have a choice

Solid video, had me hooked
Nice one. Keep it up!
New 340i M xdrive has a room to improve???
A ton lol very neutered from the factory
The new m340 can hit 470-480whp and 480-490 WTQ with just a downpipe and tune on 93oct/98ron gas. Very capable car
Do you think it’s worth it to downpipe and tune a Supra 2.0????
Why not? People have downpiped dumber things 😂
