not only did you answer all my questions i have had for this game (and its been stuck in my head), but you put on my fav mabinogi music (old login theme), subscribed
Did yall plan this? Releasing a video about the same game around the same time so the algorithm would ensure I see the one after watching the other? Because it worked. Thank you for your crafty behaviors.
Figuring out some of these things on the ps2 for the first time was a real mind bender, and I don't think I can ever forget the moment the game went from weird and hard to mind-altering.
Hey, can you please tell me the name of the music that plays from the ''item mechanics'' part of the video all the way to end of the ''research'' part? It sounds so damn cool and I just can't seem to find it on my own. Also the video is amazing I loved your editing!
Hey dude, thanks a bunch! The song is Kinshi Park from Shin Megami Tensei IV Final, if you like music like this I highly recommend the whole OST. If you ever have more questions or just wanna chat feel free to hit me up in the discord server.
@@Wyndelius Thanks! You don't really have to use it if you don't want to, but it's there so you can claim your member benefits like access to my 3d files.
What's the exact title of the song played at the very end? Loved this video and loved the positive outlook it gives to series that tends to "mutate" over the course of time.
I think I played this on the PS2; maybe a remake? Because I remembered the game was in 3rd Person. The concept of a rogue-like was pretty rare back then so I hated it. The idea of progressing so much and then poof! everything is gone once you die wasnt that enticing to be honest. Eventhough I did realised something did changed in my subsequent run but it was devastating to restart back to the begining.
Not really an inferior versión Since it includes what we would call nowdays as "DLC" adding a bunch of stuff. Most complainers point specifically at "thing thing" saying that it kills most of the Roguelike aspects Since it allows You to save some ítems For future runs. Think of those complainers as the same people who complain that Elden ring should be harder, only to complain when it actually gets harder. That said, soundwise and texturewise, it is a bit inferior, but a fair trade For the extra content.
You know how difficult it is to find an actual scripted essay about roguelikes as opposed to a shitty let’s play? This is unbelievable. Please talk about more stuff like this 🥲
Damn, really? What kind of roguelikes are you into? I've played some ADOM, Cataclysm: DDA, ToME, and Caves of Qud. I think all of them could be good video material.
WE MAKING IT OUT OF THE NERVE TOWER WITH THIS ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been seeing so many Baroque love on youtube lately, it's pretty sweet that this weird game i like is making some kind of resurgence.
I know, right? What's up with that?
It's got similar vibes to fear and hunger, which has been huge on UA-cam the past couple years
im half salty cause i've loved this game for years and even have an original japanese ps1 copy but half happy because of how much i love this game
Baroque is finally being recognized as It should
fr tho, hasn't been a month since I watched Dungeon Chill's video about it and now this guy cooks up this video lol
My editing style? All over the place? Inconsistent? At times excessive and at times lacking? You mean to say it's "Baroque"?
can you add subtitles?
There's closed captions
😂
Damn, an auto-roast
B-roke
My man is over here pumping baroque style

that shit almost gave me a fucking stroke I thought I was hearing things.
Thank you. It's always a treat to see Baroque be appreciated
The thumbnail is the cleanest/clearest
I've seen on UA-cam😮
Thanks! I'm super proud of it
@@SomaSpice i need more practice for mine😭
I love your 3D graphics you use in the video. Very cool! And gotta love those stylish shades too.
Finally, a game more schizophrenic than this channel's editing style.
Excellent work as always! Also was that track playing when you were talking about the remakes from Mabinogi???
Indeed it was!

Soma's back in the kitchen woooooo
They done did another video essay in baroque/baroque syndrome??
Aye let's pack it up. we'll find another obscure obsession
jaw dropping pump game
why so much noise about baroque now?
not that I'm complaining, but Great Heat Day is still in a bit.
Unno man, I started working on this vid like 3 months ago. Collective unconscious or something?

In blender, with a lot of patience and good references

The song is "up to you" from the album Read My Lips by Baroque Mode
懐かしい。昔の攻略本とか設定資料集とか未だに持ってます笑
まさかBAROQUEが海外でも人気があるなんて驚きです。Switchでも配信してるので、この動画を期にプレイする人が増えたらいいなと思います☺︎
Good video somaspice
What’s the song that starts at 5:25?
Kinshi Park from Shin Megami Tensei IV Final :)
Kino.
Baroque good
I have seen two recent analysis/review videos on Baroque in the past month.
I feel like getting spoiled by the internets.
There was also a ios/mobile version but my memory is so hazy of it.
As far as I know, you can get the visual novel Baroque Syndrome in mobile, and the crossy road type game. But that's it.
First dungeon chill and now you, remake coming soon or wha?? 👀👀👀😂😂
This one actually dropped first. Bro is ahead of the curve
Neat
Really good video, I've never heard of this game. Free Miku!
Thank you! And I'm sorry, but toilet Miku stays put.
