Robert Lopez, THANK YOU for your testimony in this documentary. I was saved out of homosexuality at age 26. Three years later I started a four year time at Southwestern Seminary. It saddens me greatly to see what has taken place since I finished in 1988. I am a missionary in Malawi, Africa for now 18 years (not with the SBC). Woke Christendom is rampant here, especially the God is love prosperity success version. The gospel of the kingdom is basically unknown here in a professing "Christian" nation.

I was slated to go to Southern Seminary, I was sitting in President Mohler's office, making my final decision when the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said No. I was crushed at the time because I thought that is what God wanted me to do.

Robert Lopez, I felt led to pray for you whilst I watched your interview at the last part of this video. Thank you for your strong stand and your advice to parents sending their young adults to bible college and seminary. That bit needs to be trumpeted over and over -- we seem so powerless to root this out of the SBC and its seminaries but the $$ from tuition can be effective, that and speaking out!

I’m so glad I found this… my daughter was at a Baptist Christian school.. they starting implementing a curriculum with social justice concepts and ideologies. We left! It’s not just in the church folks it’s in the PRIVATE schools now! This is in Georgia at least. :(
It is true people were born gays, just everyone was born a sinner. But that is no excuse to remain a sinner or gay in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which offers a salvation through being born again in the Holy Spirit. We can all have a new life in Christ free from bondage.

You don't need a master's degree in theology to know the Gospel Truth. Anyone, anyone who supports CRT and doesn't call homosexuality a sin is a false teacher. These issues only confirm, once again, that Jesus is coming soon for His bride real soon.
When the God-breathed, sufficient Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) is not your foundation as a Christian, then you will slowly, then increasingly, violate Proverbs 3:5 and Colossians 2:8. That is what is happening in many of the church denominations and seminaries when it comes to the social justice/woke ideology. If we think we need something more than the truth of God's Word that sanctifies us (John 17:17), then there will be dangerous consequences in the preaching/teaching by Christian leaders. The SBC is a prime example of this already happening.

This is 70 years too late. Carl McIntire wrote and preached extensively on communism within the churches, much of it through the Federal Council of Churches (now National Council of Chruches). His work was available online until recently. Too bad, another canceled truth.

Wow, when did the gospel become so complicated that the common parishioner needs a theologians degree to get through all of this? WOKE has not enlightened me, but discouraged me. Call me simple minded but the divisiveness that continues to separate the Body of Christ (all demonization's) continues throughout "social pragmatism" this video included. Does social injustices exist and unknowingly within a kind heart? Of course, a white experience for other races cannot be truly appreciated until experienced throughout similar oppression. Does this mean we cannot retrieve God's inerrant word and move forward or that we should not strive to move as Christ's body? This is an very old story...and apparently not just 40 years worth of, now moving into 4000 years later...I find it depressive that we haven't learned a single thing.

I will say that the wording Dhati chooses in the chapter mentioned at 10:04 of missing “a key component of the gospel: restoration through The Great Requirement” is problematic, but not necessarily for the same reason. He inaccurately says that we’ve reduced the Gospel to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, but it would be more accurate to argue that we have failed at the great commission and commandment. If you love the Lord your God with everything and your neighbor as yourself, you would necessarily be engaging in the type of loving, sacrificial, community-changing light that Dhati is emphasizing that the Bible teaches. And if you make disciples who don’t show their faith by their works, you have not made disciples of Jesus at all

I hate critical race theory and agree that it has a destructive unbiblical emphasis on things, but there are points in this video that WAYYY miss the mark. I don’t know or follow any of these people, but Kyle Whitt’s testimony which starts at 6:04 is incredibly misleading, which I only know because I did the hard work of pausing the video and squinting to read the email snippets the video posted. Maybe they accidentally posted only the good parts of the email, but for instance at 9:03 Kyle Whitt says he was told that we can achieve utopia in this life when the email clip they are showing AT THAT TIME
literally begins with and includes the phrases, “And yes, you’re exactly right. Holistic restoration does not happen in this lifetime.” “Because we won’t experience holistic fullness in this lifetime, that means we will never live in a society without the effects of sin,” “Jesus promised us this world will bring us trouble and that we will suffer,” “God never promised us that we would all be middle class or wealthy.” “This life is a journey. We never ‘arrive’ in this lifetime.” Someone please tell me what I’m missing here, because this level of willful misrepresentation casts a suspicious shadow on everything else in this video. I am thankful that the Lord prompted someone to include the actual email clips so that the lies were able to be exposed, but it really makes the whole video and everyone’s undocumented complaints and criticisms suspect to all but a willfully, blindly biased observer.

How do you know what the scripture says really though? It was written over hundreds of years by many different people, back at that time a lot of people didnt read and write and stories were passed down orally, that's why Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were written decades after Christ's execution. Then the books have been translated into many different versions with each translation committee not only inadvertently mistranslation things, but also purposefully censoring or rewording verses. So how do you know what you've been taught today, how you interpret the bible, is really how it's supposed to be interpreted? (because yes, you were taught a certain way to interpret it just like everyone else for the past 2,000 years, and who viewed it through their cultural lens. For example if this was 1900s United States, there would be people interpreting the bible as saying white people should own black people and that slavery is okay. It's all within how verses are framed and different cultures frame verses differently.)
How can you be so certain? And what *IF* you're misinterpreting it? What if the bible doesn't actually condemn homosexuality? What if it was mistranslated? Why would god directly condemn love between two consenting adults, but not directly condemn pedophilia? In fact, quite the opposite:

46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
Jesus was neither a socialist, nor a social justice warrior. He declined to intervene, when a man begged him to help, because he had been cheated out of his inheritance by a brother. Jesus fed the multitude several times--not on a regular basis, and He called out some of his followers because they were just following Him for the free food. Jesus didn't heal everyone He met. He moved on to preach in other places--leaving behind many unhealed people. Initially, He declined to heal the Syro-Phoenician woman's daughter, because His ministry at that time was to the Jews. Jesus did not effect social, economic, or political reform. He came to fulfill the law and to take upon Himself our sins. He offers mercy--forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation to all who believe. The Bible is the Word of God. The Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It does not change. It is not fluid. It is not W.A.S.P.-ish: the O.T. was written by Jews (except for Job) and the N.T. was written by Jews (and Luke, who had been a convert to Judaism). They were Semites. That doesn't mean that there should be a paradigm shift to accommodate my culture and sensibilities. Hebrews 4:12: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Just as true for me--a filthy, rotten, American sinner--as it was and still is for people of every race, ethnicity, and color anywhere in this universe.
Churches opened the door to this when they made the IRS their overlord back in the 60's. When I became a minister I refused the IRS's offer. NO one will be my Lord other than Jesus Christ [Firstborn Son of The Living God].

sin is simply a misunderstanding of God, its not something to be feared...just something thats a result of ignorance and should be corrected with mercy...of course some sin seems worse than others..like murder versus being gay...but all sin is connected to eachother..they all have the same root...
