This fowl up falls squarely on the govt. The sports minister was aware of the issue and said the was no problem. Furthermore, Cavalier and Harbour View were both fined for this very reason. How the heck can you say JFF responsible for lighting. The government is responsible for the lighting and FIFA says the lights have to be there 5 days before the game because the TV networks require it.
So hold on de. The lighting is for the TV and not the players visibility? Wha kinda crap is dat?
@@ip3283if the lighting is bad that means it’s going to look bad on tv and less people will watch. That’s how the TV Networks look at it. They want the tv broadcast to be exceptional. If the lighting is bad it hurts viewership. That is is why the game was moved to 3.30pm. FIFA require the lights to be installed 5 days prior to the game to satisfy their tv broadcast partners and the government screwed up.

@@ip3283Someone from JFF's technical staff should've been designated to call Ms Grange's office and the IPL office daily and pester them about getting it done. Don't just leave it to other people without following up. This is called being proactive aggressive until the lights get done to CONCACAF's standard.

This light issue has nothing to do with the JFF. Why is Lowe upset over nothing he has control over? Mario is making up shit from way up in the stands. The player might have been concerned but not upset. In 1998, the games were between 1 and 3pm. Back then, the sun hot was an advantage. Man soft these days.
