    I'm astonished at how good the face sculpts are on these figures. Nice to see them being made whole again.

      Agreed, even toy lines I'm not interested in personally are still relaxing to watch restored, keep them coming:)

    This was my favorite sci fi series and it still pretty much holds that honor for me.

      I love it as a show. The first series is so serious. Love it.

    As far as I know Alan Carter is the priciest of the vintage Palitoy Space 1999 figures! Great vid by the way!

    Real nice video. Really enjoyed watching you fixing up the paint and getting them up to par with new looking ones.

    Comlocks on wrong side of body. Also belt probably looks better with buckle on back to simulate wide flat surface on front for 1999. Great job on the painting and sewing it really smartened it up! A+ video. thanks.

    You could invest in some really nice fine detail brushes. It really does make things so much easier.

    I tried to order clothes from that website too and they just refunded it with no explanation. Well done on your content, I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the good work!

      +Graeme Goodwin They did that to me the first time. I should have known it was going to go wrong at that time.

    Do you do a clear matte finish on your paint work? I have an army of vintage OOP 40K Squats and I was was wondering.

    • @toypolloi
      @toypolloi  4 роки тому

      Yes, generally I do. It all depends on the finish I am aiming for.

      +David Lane I found them most unhelpful, especially as they messed the order up. I still do not have the missing part :( As for Batman, I am still searching for one to restore as now I have Robin I need Batman!

    Oh to think of the times I tried to make an outfit for my He-Man...it didn’t look like that 😕

    I loved Mego as a kid, I think I went through 4 or 5 Spider-Man dolls...wish I would have saved the parts.

    Have you thought about starting your own reproduction parts company? Seems the ones that are out there are not that great at all.

      +Squirrel Killa It would be good? But I don't think I have the time to start something like that. Maybe someone else could have a go and I could help.
