Music video by Paul Weller performing Peacock Suit. (C) 1998 Go! Discs Ltd.
I like it when geezer is pissed off and uses that energy when making an album. He wears it on his sleeve and we reap the rewards.
weller , legend ... nuff said
I'm 11 and I love the jam and Paul weller
One of his better solo records, and what a record it is 👍
Great to see Steve Cradock from OCS on guitar ✌️
Cradock has been there on guitar with him for over 30 years
His Royal Modness doing what he does best and has done for 40 years plus.
The greatest musician alive !
What an artist ! For me he is a musically legend !
Brother paul still wearing his off world armour rockin it ❤
Wanting to listen to fucking brilliant music brought me here.
Brilliant track from the Modfather
Weller is amazing!
he is the master!
Tuuuune ❤
Underrated tune
Use to hate this song when my parents would play it first thing in the morning - but it is the cut haha 🤘🖖
Úr parents know d vibe wake young one 🤣
Gotta love the MODFATHER and hes one those artists that is even more amazing to watch Live, plus Weller is the type of artist where he will still play a small intimate gig unlike others that believe once they've hit a certain level of fame small gigs r beneath them. Ive watched weller many times and i think he prefers the small gigs where he has the entire place bouncing getting caught up in the moment. One best gigs ever was Weller in basically a school gym with Steve Cradock at his side who id seen 2 days earlier with his awesome band Ocean Colour Scene.
I saw him live the other night and i am still in awe. I've loved his music for 22 years now but have only just realised that he is the greatest artist alive today. And this song... wow.
@@rwffmusic yeah Mr Weller is essential to my life soundtrack. The Jam back catalogue was a must to study as a teenager and his 90's solo career was amazing and the help he gave young groups like Ocean Colour Scene shouldnt be underestimated
No musician believes small gigs are beneath them. But once they've signed that record deal they do what the record label tells them. Only those of megastar proportions get to dictate where and how they play.
The very same Rickenbacker he used on Start! by The Jam
He did this one back in June 2015 in Chicago....front row...
My whole family likes the jam so what are the odds that our surname is weller too
Pretty high, your username is George Weller.
dirty groovy sound, wonderful
Fantastic song by the mod father our Paul 👍😎
Great memories and vibes from this tune 👌😎
Class !
I have got no solutions better get used to it!
Grande!! Stò scoprendo un passo alla volta questo grandissimo artista
Loving it....!!
Please don't die before me Paul ..
pure class!
"Nemesis in a muddle!"
Wish I had a peacock suit!
good tune, needs more views /listens...
Kind of reminds me of the 'Start' promo video by The Jam.
Groovin’
Beautiful thanks
sound like it should be on revolver
Daniel Guest yes! of course, now you mention it, I can hear Taxman! 👍
There's also echoes of "Sunshine of your love" by Cream and the Power chords of early The Who songs in there.
@@devanpandya7411 No you can’t.
A New Wave song from the 90s...
Mod, not "New Wave".
Oh yes
Always reminded me of “Savoy Truffle” by The Beatles. Still one of his best tunes though.
Love Steve White's drumming.
This video reminds me of start maybe its the guitar and spinning of camara's
The Wham Rickenbacker and the white Rickenbacker
🙏❤️🕊
and why do you call him small in an attempt to belittle him when he has more influence and fucking bossness in one riff than you do in your entire existance
@AKA Anonymous You first, knob.
He had a late renaissance
Woah, the Modfather shops at Peacocks? I'm literally going to incinerate all my Jam lps.
He’s making a comment on people who made fun of his own, and the mod style, that they dressed flamboyant and a bit colourful. So he’s making a joke, in a way. :)
Looks like the boys are jamming the fuck out in this video
he,s playing the same guitar as in the start video.
Commenting from 2014
It's been ages
my peacock suit,walking the street
your talking to the big boys and we're takeing no crap
Shame you can’t spell.
only one man cooler than paul weller .... clint eastwood !
Hello Graham Hunter!
@IAmNeverEverWrong you know the simple answer to that!
real music for real men! no sissies allowed!
The guy inbetween Paul Weller and Steve Craddock reminds me of Keith Moon.
Very faces and small faces from Paul, not surprised
Who's playing the bass?
I have got no solution/s-better get used to it
Stevie Hughes
11 people wear chicken suits...
steve cradock.... tagged onto weller to weak to be alone
Lee Robinson Chopper Craddock is cool guitarist
Aaawwww jealous are you?
No one "tagged onto Weller".... You are invited in, if you are good enough you stay.....He been in since 1996
@@taekwanlew93 actually
This song is SO muchg better live. it actually sounds kinda crap to me, anyway, cos I love the live evrsion so much. The live version is one of my favourite ever Weller songs, though.
鳥人
who is playing the bass?
Marcio Tanajura Marco Nelson
Reminder to Craddock. Your head is like a plectrum.
And your entire existence is pointless.
@@TheMusicalElitist Boom. Roasted.
@@mattburns447 Yeah, you were.
ey in no way is he ugly or overrated. A bit arrogant yes but everyone he is famous generally is especially in the music industry
erm what have you ever contributed to music?
zz flop stuff......
Who are ZZ Flop?
