- In this video I am working on and finishing the scarf number eight of the nine scarves that I need to crochet for a commission. This is the second scarf that I am making with Shawl in a Ball yarn.
The yarn that I am crocheting with is Shawl in a Ball (61% cotton, 34% acrylic, 5% other fiber), color Om Opal.

It’s always amazing to me to see how different yarns change the look of the crochet fabric. I have actually learned a lot from these “commission” videos. I think that,you can learn a lot by just listening. So sad that people unsubscribed, they really lost out.
Hi Zandra, I agree, the same stitch pattern used with different yarns create totally different looks, so it's fun to experiment! I've learned a few things alone the way too, especially that a scarf made with a lacy stitch will shrink in width under its own weight. It's ok that some people unsubscribed.
