When I helped my wife push the pram and look after the kids while going to work, the men in church I attended (with its deep rooted culture) said “why are you doing that, do you have the breasts?” I simply ignored them all, because it helping my wife with the kids, I have a wife with mental health as a result, I also have a wife who doesn’t resent me but instead values me the more.
You mean she’s healthier mentally, right? I think you’re an awesome husband and helping your wife around the home is laudable but in a perfect world, that should be the norm or natural and loving thing to do in any healthy marriage. Kudos, and God bless you for being a good father and husband.
