Joy, you and Vivmom are my absolute favorites. You always make me very happy. I LOVE watching you. You two are my inspirational seamstresses. I love you both.
We all LOVE fabric. Yummy, yummy. The Eggshell and Banana Pudding is a good color on you. It lightens your face. I shopped the same sale and it was fabulous!
Love the quilt on the wall! We moved into a new home a year ago and it has taken all my time and energy to landscape the yard from start to finish and decorate the interior. My days disappear. I need a push to get back to quilting in my delightful 12 x 30’ sewing studio! Kick me in the bootie!
You are so adorable and so much fun to watch. I hope we get some footage of you and Philly together. I enjoy her also. I also appreciate that you are trying new ways to do things and continue to learn and challenge yourself. You are an inspiration.
Hi Joy! Your make up in your intro and ending looks especially pretty! Also, the top you were wearing while showing all your new fabric might just be my very favorite top you wear! I absolutely love the fabric you made it out of! I remember when you made it. By the way, your kitchen is very pretty!
@@Joy4650B I would LOVE to take you and Jerry out to lunch! If I ever get out that way - I will most definitely look you up! We bought a used Class C Sunseeker by Forest River. 24.5 foot. :)

Hey Miss Joy, so good to see you. Praying for y’all during the storms! You’re looking beautiful! Love all your fabrics and love your kitchen cabinets! Take care and God bless y’all! 😀❤️
Joy! Lani tunic looks much better now - and that is a pretty fabric! I think pockets would be great in that top. The red/white daisy print top is adorable. Love it.
Joy, Joy, Joy! So good to see you! I love the snippets! Fabric choices are beautiful as always. Truly enjoy your humor. Thank you, hope to see you soon!
You make the prettiest tops and the fabric you chose is awesome. I roll my fabric on my big ruler then slip the ruler out. I secure my fabric with those real long Bobby pins. I usually take an extra fold and store them upright in a drawer. Busy week here also. Putting car in shop tomorrow, Tuesday my son gets his second cataract surgery and Thursday I get my first one done on my right eye. Then to keep up with a ton of eye drops.
Good to see you again! The Lani looks ok. I like the fabric. I think shortening it was a good idea, but the crossover point in the front should be lowered an inch or two, in my opinion. Like when you make it again. You could also tack it closed at the top stitch point if you feel it's opening up too much. I appreciate your videos so much, and have really been missing you! I'm just getting into this video, but wanted to go ahead and comment on the Lani before I forgot! Hugs! Peggy

I love your fabrics and blouses you wore in videos. I don't pay attention to what "the experts" say about big flowers. I think they're nice. Stay safe.
Wow Joy you sure did buy a lot of fabric totally love all of them so much, and you got a great deal can’t wait to see your new makes like I said you always make me laugh thanks for sharing ❣️🪡🧵✂️💖💕💓💗
Joy, it looks good. When you decide if you are going to mess with it, you can take it in down the sides wider at the bottom tapering to the waist. I can see where you can make it hang straight down in front by doing that. You have extra room in back and front both. I know you don't want it fitted to the body. You do have a nice figure and your sewing is beautiful. That pink top looks perfect!
Loved your video, Joy! When i order from Fabric Mart, if it's the end of the bolt, i will order a half of a yard less fabric and then they usually send me the entire piece. Just my two cents....
Joy the last fabric you unpacked from Fabric Mart Fabrics looked really gorgeous up against you. I hope you make something out of it "soonish" so it doesn’t get lost amongst your stash.
All my fabric is stored in totes and such a pain when I want to make something. I will look for some foam core. We have dollar tree canada store and store called Dollarama so I will check and see as your idea is awesome! Sadly or not sadly I do have to agree with you. That tunic is not flattering. The fabric is very nice very pretty. I think it needs princess seams. Also, your choice of font when you are adding information onto the screen really should be something like Arial rounded font not something like Times new Roman and it’s too squished together. More kerning. Which equals more space between the letters. Other than that, still appreciate your videos you’re quite a character ❤️❤️❤️ I appreciate you calling out the names of the fabric because I started buying some from fabric Mart fabrics also, have you bought from Fabric wholesale direct? The line drawings on the flower petals would be the "sketch" I believe. The 'banana pudding' fabric would be a good nightgown. Way too light for you to wear near your face, IMHO. Obviously if the fabric is under ten dollars a yard I will err on the side of excess more than if it is sixty a yard.😸 I hope this helps some.
Good advice from Lilo. I always buy two yards of 60" wide. Always plenty for a top. If you wear a very large size, you definitely will need more. Buy three yards of 58"-60" or five yards of 45". When you buy fabric and you’re not sure what you’re making how much yardage do you typically get?
lol, not Joy, but she buys three yards. You have to take a minute and consider…how wide is it? What do I “think” I might make? Forty five inch you will obviously need more, and some items just wouldn’t work. Speaking broadly, for forty five allowbfive yards for a dress or coat, knee length, three yards of sixty will probably work. I have used the black ones, but I prefer the white. The black didn't cause any problems, but there may be some fabrics I have not unwrapped yet.
I went to the dollar store and, over the course of the weekend, I bought 27 boards. I am able to get 6 boards per sheet! I likely need 10 more ☺️
