I'm liking the series but i find all the characters irritating, including the young prince. Sometimes unlikeable characters make for difficult watching.

Both Shameless and Queer as folk were ground breaking British series that broke new ground. Both original and shocking they paved the way for representation of queerness on TV. Both are extraordinary, brave and honest. Coming when they did in the UK (way before the American versions) they had us glued to the TV and nothing else was talked about in the LGBT+ community for months while they played. 10/10 for Both.
Barracuda is one of the best lgbt+ shows I've ever watched in my entire life. Even though they don't have a lot of intimate interactions, I have to say it's one of the best written and put together in the overall series I've ever seen. I'm very happy it made the list, it's definitely a underrated gem.

@@jeffskphx I have seen the norwegian and the french one, they are very good. Each one has its own "personality" from the language of the country to the environment to the habits of each place. I'm trying to get the romanian but haven't succeded as yet.
Try Shadowhunters - a young-adult fantasy series. The 3 season epic romance between Alec and Magnus is really beautiful and the best I've seen on film.

I would've given a little more time to "Looking" which surprised me by being one of my favorite shows. I found the characters very appealing. But it's important to include "Looking, the Movie" which completes the series.

Never seen the British QaF, the American version is a cult classic that’ll never fade. But I do wish the reboot on peacock didn’t cancel, it was good too.

The Peacock version was hit and miss and ultimately very disappointing. First of all the writers failed miserably to develop their most interesting money couple, Brodie and Mingus. They started off with such promise: Is the emotional consequences of saving someone's life the basis for true love? But they came together one fateful night and then they were mostly apart for the entire season. I didn't like Ruthie and Char, and there's no way Julian would get someone as hot as Noah. No way! I'm not surprised it was canceled.
The British version is a seminal part of gay TV history. If it wasn't for this and the way it broke into the mainstream, the US version would have never happened.
Shadowhunters should be on this list aswell; Magnus and Alec is the ultimate lgbtq ship out there ♥
And the American Queer As Folk all the way, one of my all time favorite shows ☻

I has seen "Witness" when it first was shown & LOVED IT. And "Queer as Folk" American version which I bought. Watched the English version but only the first 2 episodes. Just didn’t have the same attraction. I'm positive it is where you might live to which one you like most. Both have fantastic great actors.

I loved Smiley. The lead actor, Carlos Cuevas also was a star in the series Merli which had a very prominent gay storyline. I think he is a wonderful actor.

I totally agree. They were so good together and the trajectory of their relationship was very real. Of course, John Paul's romance with the hunky but abusive cop, George Kiss was sad but engrossing.

How the hell do you overlook "Noah's Arc"? An American series about men of color. It was like QAF, but explored the themes and challenges gay black men face. Your overlooking it is an insult.
My only resentment about American QAF is that all the actors but 2 were straight. Randy Harrison and Peter Paige. Of course Emmett was the only character that wasn't an AH.
