thats gorgeous! I've learned a lot from your videos and I've put it to practice at the salon!! thank youuuuuu
This makes me so happy!!!
WOW! So beautiful!!! I want to get balayage done to my hair so bad. I have never gotten my hair bleached before and I'm 28, lol. I desperately want a change in my hair before I get any older lol. I clicked on your video because I was looking to find out how long it would take virgin hair to process. I found all the answers in your video and the beautiful outcome was such a bonus!! Great job!!!
Wow just wow! My mother in law is a hairdresser and she's doing this to me today. Ahhhh!!!! Soooo excited!
Excellent job one of the most beautiful jobs on hair I ever seen of you tube .....
Stunning job, one of the best I've seen.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! Wonderful job!!!!!
before she looked like she was 12
How?
Woah I thought she was 12
LOL at first I thought this was just a salty comment then 0:20 rolled around. She defs has a super baby face. lol
Amazing work!! How many hours did you take? I have problem with balayage Asian hair from level3 to level 9+, because one bleach session I couldn’t take it to a level9 and when I do a second bleach session is gonna take me a long time to pick the prelighten balayage and apply the bleach again, any tips you like to share?
Beautiful balayage technique. ..so fluid..would definitely try using seran wrap again on long hair...parting looks clean which is half the success of beautiful color. thanks for posting!
what a beautiful hair color looks very nice on her well done!
I absolutely love this color!!!! Now I'm so tempted!
Great job! Her hair looks gorgeous!
Wahh! Wish u were in Hawaii! Love this educational video. I enjoyed watching this.

Gorgeous 👍
Ugh! I love this and I live in Virginia. I really want to come see you.
hey nam, thanks for this vid and the education u provide in general! i'm such a foiler, but i've learned so much about balayage/ color placement in general from you, and am very thankful :)
anyway, i'm an asian guy too and i want to go blond before i chop my hair off. my hair is def coarse, but it's wiry/wavy (even using the asian spectrum of texture, it really is coarse, af). we're going to do that whole LA style, foil highlight/lighten the ends left out/root smudge thing, so i can get pretty light. i'm hoping to get to a level 8 or 9 at least in a foil. i know BlondMe is pretty intense, so knowing what u know about BlondMe how would you formulate developer wise?
Thanks again for being so transparent in your beautiful process and helping other stylists like me grow ;)
That's lovely 😊
perfection
I love it! 👍 ❤️
BEAUTIFUL 🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️
srsly wish u liv in NYC so u can do my hair :,(
yaaaas this is gorg !
Perm color with less volume of developer isn't a true Demi bc it still has the ammonia in it. Just for those that may have to b concerned with compromised hair😃💜
omg wish you were here in NZ 😢
fr though ! im like searching for people in nz who can do balayage like this but rank 🙄😖
bird B its like we have to go overseas 😑😑😑
Tara LS I’m sure there is someone who can do a good balayage in NZ, hope u find a good stylist to do it.
well done!! :) bravissimo
Oh I love it!
Hi, I am love your jobs. You are so easy to teach. I am from Mexico City, but I live in Los Cabos. I have some questions Do you put heat with some tool ? or just let the plastic acting alone, I mean the plastic makes the function of the aluminum paper ? Gracias.
love this
Please teach us this amazing babyliss 🙏🏻
Amazing
I want you to do my hair! Over here in the netherlands no one can make my dark brown/black hair look like this! 😩
Holy crap you did such an amazing job! As a hairstylist, would you recommend the Joico Purple shampoo on yellowish tones for medium/light blonde?
I LOOOVVVVEEEE IT!!! :D
really want this colour next week when i get my hair done but what if they say they can't do it this light cos its too light for my dark hair :(
How much do I need to pay estimated for this?:)
Depending on how many hours he worked on her. Probably $400-$600
California in the Central Valley in a small town by Merced ca!!
I wish you were in Boston :,(
Any tips on how to blend ?? I have a lot of trouble blending it!! I try my best to do a baliage and it just doesn't blend !!😞
It's all about a soft touch and the sectioning. Where are you located?
I love it! How much do you charge for hair that long?
we use Foil in Covering the Bleached part when we do Highlighting...but I think its better if we use what you use..BTW what is that??
I want to dye my hair that blonde...! But I have short hair and I'm kind of tan so I don't think it would look good T-T
how long did it take to do this? It looks great.
ehh I wish you were in LA. lol. Is there another toner you recommend if I can't get my hands on the Keven Murphy ones.
When will you come to Bali ;.; i need you omg
очень красиво 👍
I wanted to get a similar result, but the color didn't come out as light as I wanted. Do you have any recommendations for what I should do? Thanks in advance!
How much does it costs? 😍
I tried this and it did not come out nice. whished I had your talent.
Did you do the balayage and then apply the toner mixture over all of it or did you apply the toner mixture first and then did the balayage?
would you mind explaining the 3.5 developer to me? I googled and couldn't find anything so I'm assuming I have no clue what you're actually talking about lol
PLS COME TO CALI 😭😭
i have a problem. i can't find these products where i live. so can i replace it with wella welloxon developer and wella blondor?? please tell me.
Heyyy! I'm thinking of dying my hair. I'm in Vietnam on a trip. R u in Saigon?
Is this from one session?
um ok I went to this hair salon place yesterday and they said it would take more than one sitting to get a 'honey' balayage and one sitting would be $200! ..err no thanks. I'm now on UA-cam contemplating on doing my own and I see this video and her hair is lighter than what I want and she's done it in one sitting! how TFH
Losa 2306 she had virgin healthy hair. We would start at $200. That's a good deal. I just depends on your hair. Lightener only works for an hour. Whatever you hair gets to in that hour is it. You can reapply immediately but now your price is almost doubling
It's better to do this in steps, pretty hair is healthy hair! His client had virgin hair, it is much easier to lift than previously colored hair. And $200 is a steal for this process, it requires skill, patience, and a lot of time. Find a stylist you trust and listen to them! We would like to make you blonde in one session, too. But unfortunately it doesn't work that way.
I got my hair dyed at the hair dressers and it went orange, if i cover it with semi permanent medium brown hair dye will that make it harder to lift when I go get it bleached again?
don't tone it with permanent hair dye, use something semi- or demi-permanent!!
Yeskimify yes it will be harder and cause more damage next time it’s lightened due to having to lift through colour.
where can I find this man
r u located in san diego by any chance?
leanna is that u
It doesn’t look blond but butterscotch or mustard yello
Nam, I need your help. My friend wanted an ash blonde. I bleached her hair (2:1 ratio 40 volume developer to bleach ratio + olaplex) the consistency was more liquidy than pastey. After an hour, it only lightened to gold/yellow-gold...and I think it needed to be more of a yellow color. I felt I had no choice but to not continue bleaching longer - toned her with a ash blonde toner. Result is some strands was cool toned but some pieces look brassy/bronze? How to fix the brassy assuming it can't be bleached again anytime soon?
Your olaplex more than likely diluted your bleach, as addidng olaplex into 40vol bleach can easily knock it down to 30, youre better adding in less then advised. You could try using malibu crystal gel (non-damaging) for up to 45 minutes under a heater with a plastic cap, it will take out the toner you've put on. Then you could try a joico base breaker cool (controls unwanted warmth and gives one level of lift without damaging the hair) applying just to the bits you've lightened. Could possibly work, in getting that extra lift and removing brasiness. But if you cant get it to the right level of lift, ensure your client is having olaplex treatments for a month, and doing it at home with stage 3. Then you will be able to do it again. I hope this helps.
what color did u use Nam?
r u Filipino
why was she chewing
she was probably chewing gum
Can she please chew with her mouth closed? Haha it's really bothering me
Nice. May I ask what camera you used at the end of the video?
