I took my Sony a6000 camera and paired it with Sony 50mm f1.8 prime lens and went for a walk on rainy Copenhagen streets in Denmark. This is a casual POV video to show you how I stroll the streets and take random pictures on a rainy summer day.
Since the Sony 50mm is a full frame lens on a crop sensor camera like Sony a6000 the equivalent in focal length would be approx 76mm so I had a chance to take a lot of pictures from mid distance.

Man really was just walking around taking amazing shots while holding a dam coffee cup...
Und dann ich selbe Kamera selbes objektiv selbst die verdammten selben Filter und es ist Schrott 😅
I thought it was a lens until i read this comment. Lol
That’s the perks of a prime lens. With a zoom you need both hands. With a prime you can hold a drink lol
That's The Other Lens.
Hey Toms just wanted to say THANK YOU for producing a6000 content you are the saviour of a6000 gang. Just bought the camera last month after watching your videos hope you will make more videos on it and one again THANK YOU and you are my GURU 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Hey buddy! Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏 it really makes me happy that people find these videos useful. And of course, my friend, I will continue producing new videos about the a6000. So many ideas already in my mind so stay tuned and have fun with your new toy 👌💪🔥
@@TomsJurjaks Thank You I can't believe you replied 🙏🙏
I do my best to reply to each and every comment @@clashtrash6198 and yours was a very special one. Take care my friend 🙌
Yeah bro thanks. Really had me ready to get a 6100 but glad I kept the 6000 and dialed it in 🥳👍🏽
Hey Tom, nice video. Good to see you still making videos for A6000, most photographers have completely moved on from this camera. Would love to see a similar video with sony 18-105 F4.
Hey buddy, thanks! This camera is dear to my heart and lots of times prefer it over my a6400 just because a6000 for photos is as good as all other a6xxxx series cameras (even the newer ones).
I've heard a lot good about the 18-105 G - I need to get my hands on it and try out to see what it is good for. Thanks for recommendation.
people like me just bought their second A6000 - Amazing cam
Video only posted 30 mins ago and i happened to stumble upon it (was searching for a6000 POV). This was exactly what i was looking for. Wasn’t a subscriber up until now, loved the vid & love your pics.
People like you really make me want to do this more and more! Thank you so much for your support and I hope my past and future videos will also be useful. Cheers! 🙌
Honestly, that coffee mug is fire!!!
It is 😁 too bad there is not one with Sony or Zeiss logo on it 😀
This is so cool. Capturing random stuffs on road. Would be happy to see your editing process as that pics look super interesting
Thank you Aniket! A little preview on how I edit the videos are here: ua-cam.com/video/Zw9ipijj_Jg/v-deo.html
@@TomsJurjaks Yeah, definitely need it! I really like the color of the pictures in this video!
My eyes focus to all bikes....they are vintage bikes...lovely
Man... Copenhagen is full of bikes and the city is just so photogenic, it's crazy! Thanks for the comment tho 🙌
Wow. Those photos are awesome! Great video!
Man. I felt it when the guy dropped his phone! Btw, really nice videos. I enjoy watching your videos and love your personality! Keep it up mate.
That poor guy did not have a good day 🙉 and thanks a lot for the compliments Taz, much appreciated 🙏
Excellent POV video, thank you. Please consider doing some more. Very enjoyable. 👏
I think I just might, as more than few people have asked for it. Will do my friend and thanks for the kind words 🙏
Sony a6000 w/ 50mm 1.8 2023 gang! Thanks for this videos
Im amazed and you vids are so inspiring showing that its not the gear but the photographer that makes the photos great!
Im so happy you feel that way my friend! Thats exactly the idea I try to portray in my videos to enable more people to start the photography.
Really enjoyed this content. I shot rally photos in a rainy day one time with my Nikon D5100 and was so paranoid of ruining it, probably would have the same feeling with my A6000 when I go out. Great content sir!
Im so happy you are enjoying the vids! Makes me wanna do more. I recently heard a very good saying: "The best camera is the one you can afford to replace" lol. If you are too afraid (and financially limited) to break your one and only camera, then I guess for the sake of nerves, I would always advise against going out shootin in the rain. But if you have a bit of spare cash and you use common sense and wipe it off as often as possible when shooting in light drizzle - you should be fine I guess! But dont take my word for it haha
@@TomsJurjaks - Yea, my old dog D5100 has a lot of motorsports miles on it. One year I was able to shoot over 35 events (miss those days) and I saw everything from bitter ice cold rallies to blistering hot NASCAR races. That camera is a beast. I need to build that confidence in the A6000. I think because of how small and little weight it is is what throws me off. Your videos has inspired me to get out there with this little beast and get back to capturing content. Thank you! Also, look forward to some future vids :)
Love it mate! Awesome shots, love the rainy vibes 🔥🔥
Thanks a lot buddy. More to come 🙌
Fantastic channel. Finally someone using gear anyone can pick up. Thanks.
Welcome aboard my friend! Thats the whole idea of this channel - we talk about the gear that doesn't break your bank here 🙏
Damn the result is so sharp! Good job Toms 😁😁
Thank you so much Ares, glad you enjoyed the video 💪
Best video of the day, great work and amazing video
I love your photography very much-specially with sony 6000......Need more this kind of video.
Thank you so much Abhigyan! More like this coming out soon 🙌
Just bought my a600 a few days ago after watching your videos and I love it🥳
Awesome!!! Enjoy 👏
I bought this lens for my a6000. Hope my beginner self can pull cool shots with it!
man, your videos are such a vibe i love them
Haha thanks a lot Fatema. Stay tuned for new ones 🙌
This city , street is so beautiful
Copenhagen is truly amazing city even in a rainy day Emilie. Make sure to visit it 🙌
I just recently found your channel and I just wanted to say thank you for posting your settings when you show your photos. I have the same camera, so I find it helpful to see your settings and the final product. Not that I can duplicate your quality, but I can use what I learn to try to apply it to my own photos as I re-learn the hobby.
Thanks so much for checking out the channel friend! Really glad to see you find it useful. In other videos I have now added ability to show you my electrical viewfinder so you see also where I focus etc so check out some newer POV videos.
I have to say, the pictures are amazing. Incredible job, this video might bring me to the Sony a6000.
Thanks a lot Michel. I honestly think its a totally capable camera, especially for photos, so you can't go wrong 🙌
@@TomsJurjaks Have you tried the 55-210mm kit lense? And do you believe the a6100 is worth the 300$ extra? Thanks for your reply :)
More of this video. I love it.
Finally a good street photography video in Copenhagen :D
This is pretty cool. thanks Toms.
had to add this to the list as well.
More of this my man! 👍🏾
Best Sony a6000 Shooter on UA-cam! 🙌🏻

Dude you make my camera seem so badass! With the exact camera+lens. Your shots loos so nice and dramatic
I appreciated that buddy! Shoot RAW and go out in crazy weather, practice a lot and it will give you plenty of material to work with.

Already impressed, ordered one for myself. Thanks bud
Cheers and good luck 💪
Colors are exactly great, I like them. 👍
thanks! You can get these presets on my website btw jurjax.com
Nice work as usual....was in Copenhagen yrs ago 😊
wish I could take photos like this with my Sony a6000 that I got last Christmas
Very nice I liked your way of simply presenting street photography with very simple camera and lens .. keep it up
Thank you so much Osama 🙂 I consider myself quite a beginner in street photography as I mostly do landscapes but I am glad people love this.
Rainy days are my favorite to go out and shoot, unfortunately i have to wait for winter because where i live it's rare to rain in the summer
Now I am curious - where is that?
I learned a lot from this content, thankyouu very much, sir!
Glad to hear that Ahmad! You are very welcome!
Wow ❤️
Amazing clicks ❤️
Как всегда прекрасные кадры Спасибо ❤
Cool coffee mug!!
The best!
wery nice pictures, i did not know that Nørrebro could look that way
Yeah Nørrebro is not that bad actually Mike. There are tons of nice places 🙌
Great lens for the sony a6000 I have to get that one for my photoshoot behind the scenes! :D
And also very cheap considering its a full frame lens. Go get it my friend!
super vidéo and photos love your work !!
Thank you so much Arthur. Much appreciate your support 🙌
Great work!!! Thanks
For all a6000 series cameras, the final focal length must be multiplied by 1.5, then 50mm in aps-c is 75mm equivalent on full frame. This is usually the multiplier for aps-c. The A5000 has 1.55x for example.
yup its basically 36/23,6=1,5XXX but its 1,6 with canon because canon's apsc size is 22mm
@@pinkfatcap And there is also APS-H in Canon lineup witch has 1,3 multiplier.
i have this kit. quality shots for a fairly cheap set up 😎👌
Nice little video. I found if I let my a6000 get too wet it sometimes freezes or does some other weird thing. I often keep it under my arm. A light mist is ok, but be careful. Not a street photographer but enjoyed seeing how you do it. Looked like fun.
Thats true! Can happen. And I am also usually hiding under my arm and try to wipe it as often as possible. Cheers.
awesome street photography!
Happy 10k subscriber bro! Nice content as always and i like POV content the most. Always support!
Cheers Afnan and thanks for the congratulations 🙌🔥

Amazing video brotha loved it
Ay cheers Nobel. Thanks for your support 💪
great video. because i bought a6000 few weeks ago and my photos were awful. so your photography gave me hope, and
willingness to buy lenses XD
Thanks for the nice comment my friend! Yes, the camera is very good but most important thing is your skills and lens. You dont need a lot of lenses, just get one good prime lens and you will see massive improvement.
damn, this guy really has so much great ideas on photography. i wish i could have
I honestly don't know what I am doing half of the time 😂 just walking around the city and trying to see something nice! You can do that too. Just go out and shoot buddy 🙌
Thank you, So nice to learn how to capture
You are very welcome Arisa! 🙌 Stay tuned for more
Wow thanks for this video best to see what it’s capable of.
Thanks for checking this video out Benny 🙌
@@TomsJurjaks Your welcome. I just bought one and I love it so far. What Fstop do you typically shoot at for street photography?
Im not an expert in street photography tbh so often times I go for the details @@ShirleyAerial and I shoot wide open at f1.8 a lot
@@TomsJurjaks Me either most of my photography is done via drone. I’ve just got Into more ground photography. But I am glad I got the same lens now. The stock lens was limiting. I have a manual 35mm I got for cheap but can’t shoot anything moving at all.
dude i need that cool cup!!!!
Haha its amazing, keeps the coffee warm! Check it on Amazon
More of this man. Good content 💯
More to come!
Hey Tom lovely video bro. Did you edit your pics after you took , because the colors are amazing
Such a brilliant video!! Thank you . Could you please make a video with 85mm 1.8 with a 6000??
Thank you! I already did! Please check it on my channel 🙂
Hi Tom. Nice video and great photos. I just don't understand how did you manage to keep the whole photo in focus with f1.8?
I just bought a 50mm1.8 one (not the full frame one) and I have a limited area on my photos which is focused
Great video! Is there any similar preset/style in darktable?
I am bored and I see your video . Calming
I love all you photostyle
Thanks!
fantastic pov work
Many thanks Ansar!!
Great job bro…love it…👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Great shots. Proud a6000 owner ;)

Wow very nice. I just purchased sony a6000 last month
Congrats! Tag me on Instagram @jurjax so I see your work
Hello Toms, many thanks for making these videos available to us. I'm searching for recommendations for a nice lens and have an A6000. Despite having little to no experience with photography, I occasionally wish to capture images on family vacations.
Hey Sayed, glad to have you here. Even a kit lens will work somewhat okay, but perhaps try a prime lens? My favorite is Sigma 30mm f1.4 - cheap, sharp and versatile.
Great pictures, nice show. Your coffee cup is a pain in the ass, though.
Hahah thanks Hannes, love your comment 😂✌️
My dream cam🥺
It's cool, i like your content👍
Thanks! 😃
love the video .i plant to buy a cheap second hand camera, and a6000 and a7 are on the list, but i don't see anyone making video about a7 like this
Did you buy your camera buddy?
Amazing bro ❤️✨🌺
Im waiting for more videos with sony a6000 pov!
There will be my friend! Stay tuned!

Mad combo. Congrats!!!
Nice photos!
its pretty cool
Thank you!
inspiring thanks, nice colour grading
Many thanks Takichou! 🙌
Really like these POV adventures !! :D for a second I was like ??what?? are you using the Canon EF 24-105mm but then I discovered it was your coffee!
Haha thanks brother! That coffee mug has confused too many people already, especially a girl in a coffeeshop where I asked her to make the latte in it. She was like: wtf man 😂 and then she found out it WAS a mug hahaha
@@TomsJurjaks link for the mug? Its awesome🤘
Just search for Caniam coffee mug on ebay, amazon or AliExpress@@charlienystrup1442
@@TomsJurjaks Hehe I can only imagine she was pretty confused! :D
I legit thought you were holding another lens until you said "how do you like my cup?" Haha that's cool
Haha I love that cup Jester 😁 I can only recommend it to confuse other people 😁💪
smooth
Thanks!
Amazing brother 🙏
Thank you 🙌
Hey amazing photos. any chance you could give a tutorial on the colour grading you did on them?? would be amazing thanks!!
Thanks a lot! I have few on my channel but will post a new video about it in upcoming weeks so stay tuned 👌
Hi Toms, thanks for sharing this. I still have my trusty A6000 and this video is such motivation. Love from Malaysia.
Hey cheers Janeen. A6000 is a lil beast we all love. Enjoy yours 🙌🔥
Could you tell me about presets you used ??
And it was amazing how you took all the photographs.
Loved it man ❤️
Hey Pragyan, thanks a lot brother! Yeah I used my own presets that you can actually download for free on jurjax.com there are also few paid ones which you can purchase in case you want to support my channel.
And you can take a look how I edit my pictures in this video ua-cam.com/video/Zw9ipijj_Jg/v-deo.html
I just bought a white a6000 with 7000 shutter count for fairly cheap and bought a tamron 18-300. Such a cool camera. Everyone I shoot with thinks it’s a point and shoot until you slap the 300mm lens on it.
Thats true haha hidden power 🙌
Your grading is great 👌🏼
Thank you 🙌
Those pictures look great! Im trying to get into photography as a hobby, and im looking at the a6000. How do you set the camera up to get photos like these? Or do you have to edit it a lot on your computer?
