Ah thank you, I do enjoy going off on a tangent and a ramble and it's always nice to be reminded that people want to hear them, it helps quieten that little voice that is going "Get on with the game!!!" lol, especially with a game like this where I want to sit and talk about character motivations and life when big stuff happens

What is happening?
As soon as you clicked the bear option, it cut to an ad with intense music, and I 100% thought you just trigger boss music. I'm DONE 😂💀

Halsin was my romantic choice, and I wanted him to feel as comfortable as he could in our (fun) time so yes, the bear scene was very real for me hahaha, the squirrel though was very judgy indeed

No joke about the height thing. I work with a guy who is easily seven feet tall. Standing next to him is a weird feeling, especially since I come up to a little above his elbows. Being only 5'3" doesn't help me much 😆

44:11 elementals have multiattack, use that instead of the normal attack since they're both once a turn anyways and don't expend resources

Thank you once again for an amazing video ❤️ I love hearing your thoughts on Morphy's personality! She does seem like someone very independent and straightforward, but from the way she has been helping others and is resisting the urge she can't be a bad person.
One of the charms of the game is how it is able to discuss heavier themes with maturity and sensitivity. Many, if not all of the backstories we see are traumatic, and there have been many times I've had to really think about my own moral code. And with things like relationships and sexuality there isn't an underlying message of what is wrong and what is right, but they are brought up with a neutral curiosity. "We are adults and I respect you, so we can discuss this openly."
As demiromantic and demisexual I can't always relate to all this romancing business, which sometimes makes me sad, but because it's only a small part in this massive story it doesn't feel like I'm being left out. Plus, I can still get a good-natured laugh over others being horny and flustered 😁
😂 man the dark urge is a necrophiliac canonically, if you wanna be cannon about it all, Durge wouldn’t even be able to get off with any of the companions, except like maybe astarion I guess if he pretends to be a little more dead

lol yeah I was going to say, no, I’m always thinking how short I am, because I can’t reach most things (especially in my house, the person who lived here before me was very tall and customized everything, like I need special long shower curtains) I don’t feel that small at 5’2”, but I am 😅

Depending on how you play your character and I believe on the race/background of your character, Halsin does change depending on what he thinks you like. With my half orc druid he was very playful and I know he's very forward with dwarves.

First 20 minutes I was just laughing nonstop.
I’ve seen this scene somewhere on YT before, and it felt like plausible DnD romance then. With you here, with your commentary and your character it just felt different. 😂 I can’t help laughing.
Halsin is very straightforward about intimate relationship, to the point where it feels a bit awkward. I kind of like it, because with such person there is no need to second-guess anything. On the other hand, it lacks mind play, witty flirt and excitement of little chase, so it would not be great for long lasting relationship. Feels like one night stand, no deep feelings involved, no secrets shared.
Also, I would prefer to enter monogamous relationship, even in the game, so… if I played it, I’d probably deny Halsin’s offer. I’d let him free his spirit and his body parts somewhere else.

Re the Halsin thing, I think I get what you mean but I also find that just being open and willing to be vulnerable (as he is) can be very attractive, and less exhausting than "will I/won't I, ooh maybe, we'll see". And it does feel healthier to me. Mark Manson has some great stuff to say on this.
The turnoff for me more when he effectively said "I love you, let's be friends with benefits". I'm like you, I'm always all in for one person, I don't find it appealing to be told "I want to be with you but I want to keep my options open" (albeit dressed up in prettier language).
“Full playthrough” more like foreplaythrough
I didn't take Jaheira along on my first playthrough, and got in just by dropping her name, so while my cleric could tell that Geraldus was trying to tell us *something* they had no way of knowing what, and the dopplegangers got a surprise round on us as a result

Regarding your comment about supporting us in the relationships we are pursuing, I wanted to thank you.
I've had a bit of a hard time letting go of someone I have feelings for. The reason I can't pursue a relationship with them is because one of my close friend has been in love with that person for as long as I can remember. No matter how much she heals from her feelings for him being rejected, and no matter how good that person and I's relationship is... I can't bring myself to have anything happen between us. It would be a betrayal. I know that...
So, I really tried hard not to fall, and to avoid problems...
Basically, long story short, as of now I'm talking to some guy from an app to think about another person, someone I can be with even though it's not meant to be serious. (imagine having a rebound for someone you haven't even dated...).
Anyways... I couldn't really talk about this to anyone yet. It's a mess. But I try not to hurt others (my friends, or the guy from the app - with whom I am transparent) as well as myself.
I'm a monogamous single hopeless romantic... This is difficult for me.

Hello! I have just discovered your BG3 videos and I feel the same way as many of your viewers. You do a superb job of playing and giving life to your characters. I have enjoyed every single video and am excited to see you are still releasing new ones. I am deciding which other series of yours I am going to watch once I am caught up with this one.
I used to sit my with my brother while he played Diablo 2 while we were in high school and I feel like I’m reliving that experience while I’m watching this series you have made.
I will comment that I think it’s interesting that you feel your character would be possessive of Shadowheart (because of her Dark Urge background) after you chose for them to have a brothal night. If your character truly felt that way (possessive), she would not have wanted to share Shadowheart at all. Could you imagine how jealous and insecure she (Morphy) would be?

Halsin comes off as quite clinical. It's like he's trying to be seductive, but it's almost robotic. But at times it also seems like a horny 13 year old wrote his script. Which is a shame, because he has a lot of potential. But I do love that there are so many very different options in the game.
Perhaps your heart stirs more easily than you think.
