Man, anytime I hear this I get chills. When I have headphones on when this song plays, I get chills, emotions, and the feel of heroism.
what a great part of my childhood I had forgotten... maybe I need to go boot up my PS4 again
And then to follow it up with HD2? Bangers for years to come
Really educational! There really are not so many game scores out there - especially from the composer. Thank you so much!
Totally agree!!
Bro made 2 banger songs for games this one and helldiver 2 buddy you made my childhood with this main music for COD WWII
honestly one of the best video game main themes ever
I think the English language has no word to describe how amazing this music is. Ever since the official soundtrack of CoD WWII was released, I've been listening to this piece of beauty. Really a beautiful, but powerful music. My phone has this little feature of a top list of 100 songs that I listen to the most... A brotherhood of heroes is stuck at the first place for about 5 months now and even tho I listen to other great music too, this song always remains the first because it's the best music I have on my phone (out of that 800+ songs I have)
So thank you Mr. Roget for this amazing music, and please tell me you are going to make the soundtrack of the next CoD too :D
I came to this YT channel after I absolutaly fell in love with A Cup of Liber-Tea. Love to hear more, Legend!
Whoa that beginning was disturbing with that "brass" descending like a falling airplane. 1:30 wow that's many layers of brass combined! I'll say this is perhaps one of the best tracks I've hear for COD so far. Very emotional.
Genius
that's probably was recorded isolated. or its a sample maybe? sounds terrific
This piece will never, and I mean NEVER fail to move me. Ever since this game came out, I found myself staying on the main menu just sitting there listening and feeling the music. It got me into orchestral music and wanting to join band at my school. And the rest, they say, is history.
I can‘t thank you enough! Video game conductor scores are such a rarity! And it’s a badass theme, too! Thank you Wilbert Roget!
Ah the sweet memories, thanks for making such great music ❤
This is the most unbelievable free resource for learning orchestration and score formatting of modern game / film cues. I have no earthly idea how this doesn't have at least 100k views.
This was one of the songs that stuck with me through my childhood. I've recently come to discover that you also composed "A Cup of Libertea" which blew my mind because it's just banger after banger.
Thanks for publishing the score!
Just discovering this score now. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us!
probably the best soundtrack for a video game ever created! very well done
You are a true genius of epic music! :-)
Thanks for that sound Roget! You contributed the best soundtrack the game could have! This is truly a masterpiece!! You are a great composer! From Brazil 🇧🇷
I wish more games with your music I wish if Sony would make a new Socom game I want u create the theme for it. Keep it up man
Oh I remember this fondly. Sometimes I just let the menu play on. Had no idea you composed both this and Helldivers.
Hahah yup! Same orchestra, recording studio, engineers and orchestrator/conductor too, hence the sonic similarity.
THE NOSTALGIA JUST HIT ME
Legendary 👍
awesome work, Wilbert! I enjoyed your panel talk at Bee My Ears. You gave us very interesting insights about the industry.
I'm a conducting student, and I've been looking to get a look at the score for so long now. Such a great soundtrack overall, and now a visual to the epicness! Thank you so much, and any chance we could get one of these for Hill 493?
After watching your Ocean Way recordings, the place seems like a very cool place to be at. I hope I could be there one day.
The fact you worked on this soundtrack definitely shows in the Helldivers II main theme.
This score is excellent!
I really love this theme.Sir I really thank you for being the composer for Season 5 of COD Mobile into the deep and Season 9.When I listened to Season 9 Music it felt extremely familiar and few months when season 5 dropped season 5 theme felt so damm familiar to season 9 when I saw behind the scenes of Season 5 I was pleased.
Thank you❤️
Una obra de arte incluso es mi sonido celular cuando suenan todos quedan fascinados
This theme is way toooo good, no wonder it had 4.5 million views on UA-cam!
Since I saw you on DF I have been looking for all your music. This one in particular is amazing to me bc I can see the war and when victory was seized by just listening. I never played this game and the first time I heard this song was during your interview. Cool that you are a Brotha...I am overly impressed and awed by your work Bro. I need to know the name of the Beyond Libra song featured on Digital Foundry along with the 2nd Star Wars First Assault song. Yo your music gives me strength and I need to listen to it everyday. My Covid is feeling better listening to your music. Facts...I think I have listened to "a brotherhood of heroes" 💯 times since that interview. It is so hard.
Dude, you did a great job with MK11. Very unique ... but also very much horror-ish.
Thanks so much, Hefnaheimer!! MK was some of the most fun I've ever had scoring a game :D
@@RogetMusic Thank yourself for all the hard work you put in :) Glad it was fun. I especially like the calmer parts sometimes, like when a trumpet/horn comes in or that string part that sounds a bit like the Bioshock soundtrack. Some details.
Hard to explain which parts I mean of course :) But cool soundtrack overall. A lot of variation and experimentation.
Killing
@ 1:52 this is the part I effin explode. It drives me crazy ! I absolutely am inlove with this song real ass talk🥰
could you upload more of your game music? i would really love to hear it!
Thanks, Minecrafted! I have a bunch of tracks on this channel, and also on my soundcloud soundcloud.com/wilbert-roget/
This is the same guy who make CODM S9 soundtrack . Legend
Do you have a video score for “the shadow under the mountain”? I’ve always been curious as to how that was written.
I'll have to take a look! IIRC some of the FX and stuff weren't very specifically notated for that one, we experimented a little bit on the stage. That's one of the joys of working with a live orchestra, being able to try things out!
RogetMusic ok, that would be pretty cool seeing how it was composed, either that or untoten requiem.
I love this. What is the tempo of this song? I’m trying to remake some parts of it.
Thanks! It's 4/4 78bpm throughout
How did putting the speech over this work, was that all your idea too?
Sir, you did the COD: Mobile Season 9 Theme? I'm asking cause it sounds extremely similar to that.
Sup Gyan, and, yes! I used a similar vibe for CoDM:S9, with references to the CoD:WWII theme melody. The latest CoDM:2021 S5 main theme also references this theme, though in a more brazen interpretation and using more synth/modern elements.
@@RogetMusic yeah I was just wondering that.
@@RogetMusic Thank you for your reply. Love your wonderful creations.
This may sound a little idiotic, because I feel like I should know this, but by horns, does it mean french horn?
Yep! It's a 6-person french horn section, doubled at-pitch with trumpets when it gets particularly loud.
ヘィヘィヘィヘィ
I hope grandpa doesnt hear this
Dang even tho the pop music in America is Garbage America’s classical music is one of the best musics I’ve ever heard thanks!
😢😢😢😢
For such a shit game it had pretty good music
The game good but if you say so
Guys I know some of you might just think it is just a fun shooting game to kill and take bases but war is not a joke my grandpa stayed to me ones he was a army man and a medic and he had to drag one of his friends back to base with 14 troops after him his friend died of blood loss and he dead in 2019 age 97
