- I loved my stay in this beautiful mountain hut yet again, it was a perfect time to reflect on my months long Scotland trip that I did back in 2020. I can finally say that this is the last video of my long series of Scotland videos, I really hope you enjoyed this free-spirited month of videos where I hike the west highland way and backpack and live out a tent around parts of Scotland.
In this video, I show 1 day of the few I spend here and what I get up to. This is a club hut that I was lucky to book out especially before the stricter lockdowns.

Finding your channel has led me to the realization that that nothing on earth is without purpose. Finding your channel happened for a reason 🌿because it started me on my healing journey, It changed my perspective about life, it made me live more simply and even inspired me to start documenting my rural life which I once hated.
Thanks from the Scottish people for such a fantastic and positive view of our country. You are an inspiration to all young people that the stereo types just do not exist.
Your independence is such a attractive quality in a person, I dont personally know another human who would do what you do alone, keep those videos coming, stay safe and enjoy 👍👍👍

For me, that is the prefect way to heat and cook. Burning dry wood when it crackles and the smell is great too. 10:18 Same toaster I have. Does great toast. 12:05 I can sit, listen to and watch a log fire for hours, basically mediate and wind right down. Very relaxing indeedy..
What an amazing trip. Total inspiration, I feel lucky to have Scotland on my doorstep living in the North East. I cant wait to see a lot more adventures from you.

When I worked in NHS England, I stayed in the same village as the Mountain Bothy Association secretary. When it came to paying my fees for the following year, I simply went round to his house. His wife answered and I told her that I had come to pay my fees. She shouts: " There's a Scotsman at the door wanting to pay his fees for the coming year!" I was laughing my head off as he stood there saying, " You could just have posted them, instead of coming all this way!" When I told him where I lived...tears streaming down his face and hysterically laughing even when I was walking away from his house. I hope all is well with you Rebecca. Take care. 🌹

Good Nz morning Becky. Love your channel. Not much chance of snow where I am. Top temp expected 26-27°C..
Just a suggestion for drying out boots. If it's possible, fill the inside with newspaper right to the toe end. It works. NEVER put them near fire, it destroys the natural oils in the leather. Carry with you a flat tin of leather dressing. And apply it to the leather when semi dry. As they finish drying, the leather dressing is absorbed into the leather through osmosis. Yes it takes time, but that's how you look after good quality boots. As for wild swimming, check out Natasha Brooks. She did a short 5min film, a few years ago about skinny dipping in mountain lakes around Wales. Plenty of snow too. Locate film "Bluehue." Now a mother of 2, @ 37yr she still gets out. Atb for 2021. Wow what a beautiful place your blessed to be at, I've been Scotland 4 times now in the last year and half ish and have to say for me its just magical I feel alive while ime there.

Nice one again Becks. Cracking camera work once again too.. Such a wonderful looking location, wherever it is. The solitude, the peace and quiet.... accompanied by the bubbling and splashing sounds of that mountain burn that make these locations so special and so memorable. I wish I had done more when I was your age..

I’m so tempted to go and buy and place like that in Scotland and live like a hermit but I’m to nomadic, but a great adventure thanks for posting Becks oh and the hidden valley is now on my bucket list :))

Great video to end your Scottish trip. I almost felt as relaxed as you in that very homely cabin! If I ever go hiking in Scotland I will look into joining the club for access to these buildings. Do you pay an annual subscription and then for every night you spend in the cabin? And they send you a key beforehand? Recently found and subscribed to your channel and am enjoying your past and present videos, thanks.
What an amazing adventure I'm moving to Wales in 3-4 weeks. I'm hoping to get out and about bushcrafting testing my gear got 2 more bit's to get a Thermarest Neoair Xthirm and a folding chair that'll fit in my bergen.

Thanks for sharing. How far from the nearest shop/village is the cottage? I'd love to book something like this for after we've done the WHW in Easter (or when covid safe). There's 5 of us so eat a lot & wonder how far from a shop we'd be or how much food supplies would be needed if it's very isolate x
