    Creative attack by nakamura. But kramnik's defence was too sharp. What a nice game

    it was obviously deliberate. Why? To trade off a bunch of attacking pieces.

    @ Andressa, it was queen for 2 pieces and a few pawns, after that whites attack also lost lots of fuel

    What happened? Is it a draw or a win? Why did kramnik pointed to the clock? Can anyone explain?

      Deiz Tebila Kramnik won. He pointed to the clock to show that Nakamura's time ran out.

    Nakamura always ends up becoming disappointed in himself for making some poor decision toward the endgame. When you see him shaking his head toward the end, you know he'll probably lose.

    what happens if kramnik takes the rook,after the fork?

    • @Detherocable
      @Detherocable 7 років тому +2

      He was worried about ugly things happening to his kingside. Things along the lines of Bh6, I think. After that, the queen and rook battery could be quite painful. So, he kept his knight in the centre to diffuse any future threats.

  • @joaodascouve

    Buena partida, aunque Nakamura ya casi la tenía, y eso se resalta, hasta yo pensé que el juego ya estaba cantado a favor de Nakamura pero bien defendido por Kramnik.

    couldn‘t he have taken the rook with the queen at the end and play king vs king + bishop, I know Kramnik wins but he had very little time left on his clock... playing on time is a point worth considering, especially in Blitz

    • @dionlindsay2
      @dionlindsay2 2 роки тому

      Yep, and that would have been an interesting endgame. It might have come down to whether Kramnik could force mate with B + N against lone K, with only 2 seconds increment per move

      @jchdudjdudud1197 8 років тому +1

      +philipmisturini must keep the knight close to where the real shits hapens xd i mean close to the queen and rook of nakamura to defende his king's side

    • @vamsikrishna1934
      @vamsikrishna1934 7 років тому

      philipmisturini same doubt occurs for me ,I think kramnik doesn't want to lose his knight for rook ,that's y he didn't take .

    • @guimon5975

      Fxh5 is possible move , but too slow here. Moving pawn to c5 is much better move, to counter attack white center immediatly.

      Free pawn. If Nxa1, yes it wins a rook but the knight is out of the game. Taking the pawn wins a pawn AND a good knight :)

      +Laureano Carelli Si Kramnik hace Axh5 Nakamura sacrifica calidad (torre por alfil) con Txh5 y debilita el enroque de Kramnik, con un fuerte ataque. Simplemente eso, ataque, aunque igual no lleva a nada, es el estilo de Nakamura.
