It is late, but Grischuk has a double attack to the rook at E5 and Checkmate in F6, and there is no way to defend against both. And what a nice checkmate it would have been.
Kramnik did not blunder. Putting Queen on a appeared a weak move, after blacks Kb4 threatening Bc6 Queen would have to move back which was even worse (Qa3 Kc2, Qb3 Rb8 -+). I dont understand why Kramnik after Kd4 cd didnt take B:b4 regaining the material. Cant believe he missed simple a5
This must be the best move objectively speaking but after Bxb4 dxe3 fxe3 white's position is full of weaknesses so he probably thought he had better practical chances a piece down with a safe structure. Still a highly questionable choice as Grischuk's reaction showed.
There's your champion. Kramnik is a baller. He should re-challenge Anand and drop the hammer on him, and scythe, or is it sickle? There is no way that Anand is beyond him.
at 4:46 Kramnik should have played Bxb4... I couldn't figure out why he didn't play it, I thought maybe he saw something I didn't... but when I set up this position into a chess engine it said that Bxb4 is the best move although black would still be slightly better. Nxd4 is a blunder.
lol.. Of course, black stand better positionally - but the way is was played - white exchange their knight for a pawn..Whereupon black get decisive material agvantage
This is what happens sometimes when you try to be over creative!! Same has happened to me sometimes as well. When you see a intersting idea, you just get carried away
Grisch won because he threatened to punch Kramnik in the glasses
lol, me too.
Grischuk is one of the best blitz players of all time. Even Carlsen considers him one of his main three rivals in blitz.

se rindio kramnik por que en la siguiente jugada era jaque mate en caballo F6, o si no perdia torre..
Rf1-d1?? Blocking his Queen retreat to d1.
Putting the kings this way (both on black squares) means black win. (Like if he makes enemys one obey his will))
Grischuk is World FIDE 3rd, correct?
yes
congratulations to grischuk
Kramnik resigned
anyone else trying to find out why kramnik gave up the piece?

+thatorange08 Before after BxB4 DxE3 is very unpleasant positionally , weak E3 pawn that can be quickly attacked by Ng4 and the queen for instance

@@alexbonneville5288 id much rather defend that pawn that give up a piece
A highly dubious conception from Kramnik...

wtf happened in the end i don't understand *new @ chess* :S
this is really late reply but he moves to NF6, checkmate.
i didn't understand why grischuk made those moves in the end.
grischuk es el alma gemela de fischer
4.08 kramnik throws
knight away lol
chess is simple ,...but kramnik blunder
hey, did anand participate in this tournament?
oh, yea I don't know why he did that either
Why did Grischuk replace the white rook with his king and move Kramnik's king after the game?
krispycreme99 to signify that black won the match one puts both kings on black squares in the center
Oh, well, he lose. I stand by my statement just the same. Kramnik is a baller.
Hes 6 6 can he dunk?
sergio neto nf6 mate at the time of 8:53
04:42 anyone got an idea why kramnik didn't play Bxb4, winning back the piece?
absolutely none
Why not Bd2 instead of Bxe7?
Blundered the knight wow!!!
The bishop must take knight and attack the queen. Was a mistake by kramnik, ir rare in this top players.
8:53 i don't understand.
