Laem Singh Beach - Phuket’s Best kept Secret!?

- There's loads of beaches in Phuket to choose from, most of them are nice although most of them are also pretty commercialised and can be crowded.
That's not the case with Laem Singh beach though, it was abandoned years ago because of a dispute about crossing someone's property to get there but now it's accessible again and I set out to get there, show you how you can get there too, and if it's worth it (spoiler: it's defo worth it).
The link & website I found out about the beach from is below, it's got all of the info needed to find the beach and is really straightforward and accurate.
The boat charges 100 Baht for a lift round from Surin beach or you can take the trail, your call, both have their perks.

I used to go to this beach, it is the best beach I've been to. Back then you'd walk down from the road.

My buddy moved to Phuket 20 years ago. I am not a beach guy but I love Laem Singh beach it was perfect for us pasty white guys. And there was a Brown and White Moray eel out on the rocks there also.

Great video, what is your experience with police checkpoints. Are you stopped or fined often?
There's definitely checkpoints around so I'd either avoid them or get an international driving permit, they're cheap and will save you stress and money if you do get pulled in
PS - there's defo some corruption here but in my experience, don't be a d*ck and treat them with respect and they'll do the same
