- This is my first long-format video on this channel! In this video I'm breaking down 3 awesome drum fills for the more advanced drummer, so this is not a beginner drum lesson!
I've decided to start uploading longer videos from time to time on this channel, but don't worry - I'll keep posting 30 second drum lessons as shorts!
All these fills are from my "Fill-Osophy"-concept from my main channel, so some of you might recognize them.

nice, awesome fills. I do feel like some verbal explanation would help on some of these. For example, fill #2 is essentially LLRR double strokes with LRs in between.

Been playing drums for about 20 years every week at church. I can do a slide double with my foot. I have started practicing this fill evey day and it is definitely difficult. How long would you exoect me to take to learn the first fill and can I do anything to speed up. As I start going faster I cannot see any way of playing it smooth
It's all about practicing slowly and gradually speed it up. Don't forget to take breaks when you've reached a tempo faster than a previous attempt - that way your muscle memory will reboot and the next time you sit down and practice, it'll go smoother!
