I tried this and here are some tips for the ones who are planning to do this:
1. Don't be like me and buy a thick plexiglass if you don't have the right tools to cut it. So basically I didn't realize that the plexiglass that was used in this video was that much thin and I bought a plexiglass for about 2.8-3 mm thick and the cutting part was so hard.
2. Be very careful while you are drawing the 0.15 part because if you don't draw them just the same it will be hard to tape them together after you cut them and it may not be balanced if you don't draw them same. The ones that I did weren't the same so it ended up being a bit unbalanced but it stands on the phone perfectly fine. And if you don't draw them same there can be some gap between the two plexiglass and if that happens the resin and hardener can leak through those gaps so be careful about that too.
3. You don't really have to put the resin and hardener but I can assure you that the image is definitely more clear.
4. And if you didn't understand what he did on 1.41, you are not alone cause I didn't understand too but what i did there was: I got a piece that could cover the bottom of the hologram from the pieces that remained after cutting the plexiglass and I glued the piece under the hologram with a silicon gun don't worry I was able to take it of when the resin was dry enough to not to leak from the bottom
5. I actually didn't use the measurements that was given in this video for resin and hardener but instead I put the resin two times more than the hardener ( actually I guess this is the right ratio for resin and hardener but idk)
6. The resin and hardener mixture that I used took nearly ten hours to dry and I left it near the window (I thought fresh air may help it to dry faster) but drying time may last different depending on the resin and hardener that you use
7. Don't sop in your fingers to the resin it doesn't come of very quickly
I guess that's all,but you can ask questions if you have any:)
which hardener did you use?
Resin does not dry, it polymerizes... Putting it next to a window won't speed things up
Yo that was really useful thanks! Have you thought about doing this with a tv? Or a monitor?
@@sharvareesinkar1027 so this is gonna be a little late but; i don't specifically remember the brand but what i got was like a duo package, like there was resin and the hardener for it they came together so i guess you can buy smt like that. Sorry for the late reply
@@themichalby yepp but i didn't know that back then
I am currently making one out of glass. But I would be open to making a resin hologram. Thanks for the amazing idea!
Absolutely majestic! Beautiful job.
Thanks a lot Richard Katzman 😊
I made one of these with clear plexiglass, but due to the thickness, I got ghost images. After searching for a thinner plastic sheet, I came across this video, which convinced me to go with the resin result. It is the clearest and easy to clean, and the projected image seems to be in the center of the prism.
man-ive burnt many brain cells watching resin tutorials for hours tonight trying to get influenced-but this blows me away
Thank you. This is very simple, I think you can do better than me. 😉
Oh this is just gorgeous...
Thank you so much. 😊

Same Idea came in my mind earlier but I don't have enough resources for doing this. Thanks for implementing this. Now I am satisfied 🙏🏻
One day I'll make video on same🙏🏻

Haha, I like it too. 😉
Wicked cool!
Ótima ideia!! ❤️
Omg, I have to do this!!! Thanks 👍👍
I'm glad you like my work, thank you. ❤
Really it is Amazing this is the best 3D holography I have seen and helpful to explain... Thank you a lot
You are welcome, thank you for your love of my work. 😊
Hologram*
Very good
@@BuzzingFish its amazing. Question, how would you make one that projected a bigger image? do you ahve to do it on a larger monitor and create a larger pyramid? for instance replace the smartphone with a large flat screen tv.
c'est magnifique
Very nice!!
Very good tutorial, thanks alot
GOOD WORK 🤯 ❤
Awsome bro

Haha, you can make better and more crazy than me. 😊
Hello!! That's amazing! I mde it for poject for School an it really function 😁😁😁
Thank you. 😊
Супер!
It is a projection Head Up Display (HUD), the same as on an inclined car windshield or airplane cockpit, in which optical information is reflected from the source. It is better to use one small oblique sheet of glass. For a test than to produce a complicated sculpture from plexiglass, because the disappointment of depiction and the work involved is great. It's a lot, far away to the hologram and nice just on the PC monitor. :)
I was thinking diy electric fireplace, the logs are what drive me nuts about the fake gas fireplaces.
@@andrewyork3869 I could advise you on this if you do not want to buy an artificial fireplace. First you need to simulate the 3D depth of the fireplace, which you will achieve with an oblique mirror. You place an old monitor in a fake chimney that has the inner shape of a fireplace. You can get the wood burning loop from UA-cam. The effect is better than gas and fake logs. It's a good idea to try it on a cardboard model to get an idea of how to make it.
@@DL-kc8fc thanks I will try that, much more straightforward then what I was planning.
Use to do up one of these with laminate but this looks amazing
Thank you. 😊
What measurements and what angles does the pyramide have?
Thanks for answering

Thank you a lot. It's easy to make, you can make it. 😊
Good
Super bhayya
I wonder if you made 2 and bonded large tops to each other with uv resin would it show on top also
Es lo maaas ermoso del mundo entero
Muchas gracias. 😊
Hello @Buzzingfish great video. I would like to know why you mentioned other things to buy in description like flower drying crystals, and other colour kit. Is it sufficient to buy Clear epoxy art resin + Hardner? And do as you shown in video. Please educate me as I am not asking you not out of knowing but I am making the product so it's important. Please reply back. Also mention how long it takes to dry at room temperature?
Friend, where do you get those, in pharmacies, hardware stores or manual materials?
We just tried a 3mm plexiglass. There is no way one can cut this with a simple box cutter (or an acrylic cutter for that matter). Either you used way thinner plexiglass, or a laser cutter (or both). We tried it with CD cases and a box cutter, and the cuts certainly looked rough. The project still works but we could have avoided to pay $19 for the 12x12 plexiglass sheet that's linked in your material list. Love the project, though!
Hi bro I'm here for 1 like . Great work👍
Thank you so much. 😊
Is it necessary to build a pyramid? Or can u make the corners round?
I had the same idea..it would make a great hologram...
You can try to make it, I think you will do better than me 😊
You used a 3:1 ratio with your resin but the resin you linked to says to use a 1:1 ratio. Which is correct? Is the linked resin the one you actually used? Thank you!
Магия )👍🏻
Благодаря ти. 😊
En résine c'est quand même plus beau.
Merci beaucoup 👍
Omg😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍♥️
This is very cool I'll probably do this myself. It really isn't a hologram, but still... very cool.
You can try to make it. I think everyone can do better than me. If you have any questions, you can leave a message on my channel at any time. 😊
【質問】そのスマホの機種・スクリーンの大きさはどれくらいですか?
..Simply mind-bending!!!....Where to get that epoxy rain and hardener from and how long it takes to get hard? 👌👍👌👍
One of the better diy pyramid vids but it does not give the effect of free floating now but rather embedded inside like a tilted screen.
Still very impressive
Fantastic, thank you
Thank you so much. 😊
How does it look like from the top or side top angle?

What are the stickie squares called that you use to hold your mold and keep resin from seeping out?
Plexiglass
Paula Foltz, there is a list and links of materials in the description area below the video, you can take a look. 😊
If we want to use an LED TV to enlarge the display, will it be possible? Would the resin being too heavy to be put on the screen? Thank you!
You can use a led TV to magnify the display, but the 3d projector also needs to be made larger, too heavy is not a problem, you can add a layer of tempered glass between the TV screen and the 3d projector. 😊
How many thickness of plexi glass do u use?
Can I use a whole solid glass pyramid at first place instead of plexiglas and resin?
🔥🔥Awesome🔥🔥!!!Sir can u please tell me what u stick on the top of the pyramid with glue and how do u remove it?? @2:30
Bạn ơi xin cho mình hỏi bạn đổ chất gì lỏng lỏng để tạo thành khối thế, cảm ơn
what kind of white latex did you use?
Is it a transmission holography or reflection holography?
Does the water can make it better than the normal one?
Did you put the liquid latex on both sides or is the plexiglass or was there an adhesive on the other side of the plexiglass already? Where did you get the plexiglass?
I only posted one side, just for the convenience of cutting. I buy plexiglass from amazon 😊
Hi there. This is a great hologram projector. Does the acrylic stay on or is it removed? Is the tape applied inside or outside?
According to the comment at 2:37, it is removed with come difficulty.
This video is super fabulous!!
I have one doubt: you used a 3:1 ratio for resin: hardener in your video. However, there are resins with a ratio of 2:1/1:1 available in the market. So is it suitable to use them for making Hologram?
Waiting for your early reply as I have to make one at the earliest. Thank You!
Different resins are used in different ratios, you only need to look at the description of the purchased product, there are 1:1, 2:1, 3:1😊
