Hey! I made this with a black shoebox (I did not have any black cardboard XD) and it turned out amazing! I also used plastic instead of glass too, and it worked great. Earned a sub from me!
Easy suggestion. Take a picture frame , remove the picture and backing. Now you have a framed reflective surface to install or use to reflect the image! The thinner the glass the better so there is no noticeable double image reflection from front and back surfaces.
I'm gonna do this right now. I may use 1/4" plywood and glass from unused picture frames. Thanks for giving me a cool project. Love the music you chose.
Okay guys I'd say this works soo well though tbh. I took 3 hrs to make it. But the result was really nice and I'd suggest u to use glasses instead of transparent papers because the image quality is very low in transparent papers. This is really amazing u should try once.
I was thinking of where I could find a similar sized glass. I just remembered I could grab one of a small photo frame and use that to try this with my kids as an activity
Do I have to use black cardboard for it work? That is, can I use a regular cardboard not black? plzz answer me *If you answer me, plz put a heart so I will receive the heart notification because my phone isn't receiving replies. I played with the settings by mistake🤦🏽♂️
Hello! Just a genuine question I am planning to make a supersized version of this using an old LED tv I have and porting my laptop to connect on it so it can display. Would this work properly? I wanted to implement a cool holographic screen for my cyberpunk room. I also wanted to know if there are any alternative clear sheets I can use for this build
You can try replacing normal clear sheets with acrylic panels from another *broken LED TV. Tell me if you could make it! It would be nice you to publish your results.
Yes it does work in light, but the effect of the hologram seems to become less robust and less vibrant in some ways when a light source is added in the ambient environment.
this is amazing! works great but i dont have and black cardboard but i didnt care at least it worked. how i can watch miku concerts without going to one >:3

It works 🤩 & Just looks like a WoW
THANK YOU SO MUCH! IM GOING TO USE THIS FOR MY SCIENCE PROJECT!
note this will turn out better the clearer the glass, and the darker the room
It's work ?
Does the room need to be dark or can the confined space of the hologram be dark. For instance in a helmet behind a tinted face shield?
I made this and I was amazed by this thanks for this amazing project
Transparent papet
Astonishing project, congrats
It's literally small but it looks good! ✨
@leoispog1951or like, an ipad lol
@leoispog1951 how did you scale up the build?
Im kind of tempted to try this with my projector
Very cool
I tried this and my hummingbird actually came to life it was that good.
