Almost lost you! Algorithm in UA-cam has been skipping you on my feed 😮. Good to be back!

I run 40khz almost as a standard when park hunting and in iron. I pulls the non ferrous out like crazy. I have had some success with beast mode in heavy iron as well...but you need to pay attention to the numbers once you hit on something that sounds good and dig anything hitting above the normal nail range which seems to be about 10ish. You'll still dig larger iron obviously but it helps narrow it down. I found beast mode especially good in the heavy clay soils which are hard to penetrate.

Nice video Jeremy!!!Id like to see some more videos of the findx pro I’m curious to what it could find not much footage of it in the wild lol

Nokta was outstanding in the software updates and in my opinion has the best software writers. Nokta, and Dilek were extremely attentive and responsive to the customers. Can Garrett Vortex be competitive with their software writers?

Don't always think the newest updates on detectors are the best necessarily. I went back to the 0.7 version on my D2. Seems to just be better to me for whatever reason.

Do you prefer field or park mode more?

I think park mode does better in high EMI and in playgrounds. I use LG24 coil, field mode higher single frequencies most of all with the Legend. I used multi frequency maybe for 2 hours in the last 2 years, only used the LG30 maybe 10 times, that coil makes the detector way too nose heavy.

Why is the gain so high?

I have a small coil in single frequency. There is no way this is possible in multi or with the big coil with high sensitivity.

Not at all interested but in air tests! Come try highly mineralized soil and you’ll get the drift. Not to mention a complete waste of time. I’d rather be in my true hunting environment testing. Nice one Jeremy💪🏻

It's great to have passionate detectorists in the community who advocate for testing in real-world scenarios! Bench testing is for developmental purposes. Once you know how your metal detector's controls work, go out and test 100 real world random targets. Change frequencies, modes, recovery speed, tones, disc....etc. There is no way to prepare yourself for different densities of nailbeds, different trashy hole combinations. Every soil is different and the moisture content changes daily. The best way to learn how to detect and master a certain tough site.is go out and immerse yourself at that site and make fine adjustment each separate hunt there....EVERY SITE IS DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!

As well adept as you are with the White's Spectra V3i I will appreciate your comparison of the White's Spectra V3i to the Garrett Vortex. I believe the issue is the VDI in the Vortex and requires an update. c/p V3i advanced-Users-Guide "[W]hite’s has chosen to normalize them all to a standard VDI
scale. Therefore, a US nickel detected with a 6kHz detector will have the same VDI as with a 15kHz detector. For historical reasons, the standard VDI scale is based on a 6.592kHz detector". The standard VDI scale is shown below" Ante. I believe that Nokta has the best software writers. I believe the V3i needs an update? Nokta was making corrections expediently with a software update? Thanks for the video.

Vedo che tieni versione 1.14 , alcuni dicono che 1.17 sia più performante sui siti con molto ferro

This video was from last year. I am still on v1.14 and think it does just fine.
