Thank you thank you thank you for including the audio of what the lathe and piece sounds like when you are turning. So many channels edit over this with music. It helped me to hear that what I am turning actually sounds ok as I am a very novice turner. You got a subscriber out of me.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. I'll probably have music sometimes but I think on the more instructional videos like this one, probably not- I think it's important too for people to hear what things should sound like!
Thanks for changing my perspective on the tool marks from removing the nub. I think I'll treat it more like a feature now and see how I can embelish and showcase them instead of sanding them out
Vers fine work you made! Can you tell us something about the details of your Xdust extraction System? I'm very interested on its Details, electrical power and geometry of the fan, etc. Many thanks before!! Thomas
The green discs are from Craft Supplies USA/ The woodturners catalog: www.woodturnerscatalog.com/p/114/5087/premium-green-2-Inch-Sanding-Discs-10-Pack And the yellow sandpaper is the Kilngspors gold rolls

Very well explained. I especially liked when you explained why you cut into the bowl with the gouge rather than across the tenon.
Thanks Josh, glad it was useful!
I wondered how that was done. Thanks

Klingspor’s is definitely the very best sandpaper!
What's the brand of the sandpaper you are recommending in this video?

Why not just sand it flush.? Would give it a professional finish.
Why do we all have beards? Me included. Is it a turner thing?
I don’t have a beard. May I still turn? 👩🏻🦰
