I loved how OP handled those spoiled entitled girls. I worked at my family’s storage company for several years and whenever someone said that they knew the owner, I had to laugh a little inside because they thought that they had a trump card, but it didn’t phase me a bit. I would just laugh about it with my family later.
Totally agree, it's hilarious when people try to pull that card and it backfires! Your family's storage company sounds like it had some similar funny moments. Thanks for sharing!
My family lived in Okinawa for 6 years. In those 6 years, we didn't encounter even one single person who wasn't proud of their job and did the job to the best of their abilities. We made sure to integrate ourselves into their culture. We knew people who had jobs from janitors to the higher paying jobs. The employees and customers all treated everyone with the utmost respect. I don't know about other countries, but everyone who has a job, should be proud. We always treat every employee and people in general, with respect. We love Japan. We can't wait to go back to visit.
agreed! as my friend says, "every honest job is an honorable job". Whether you're a janitor, CEO, bricklayer, architect, you're all contributing to the well being of society and should be respected
With their attitude they think their parents money is their money and their daddy will most likely pay for his little princess to get out of trouble can't f****** stand women

Hi You taught them a lesson they won’t forget for a very long time. Being a waiter is a skilled job. What a wonderful owner. He is not too proud to help out where needed. Not a jerk. Gave what the customers what they wanted. Being professional at all times despite the abuse he received from the entitled Karens. Love the video.

High quality video AND audio surveillance? That's a huge security risk. I don't want my private conversations recorded, even when other people can hear them.
If you're in that establishment they are legally allowed to record you. If you want to have a private conversation don't have it in a public restaurant
The only reason it would bother you is because you have something to hide. It's their business, so they can have audio recording cameras if they want to. Don't like it? Eat at home
Oh also ever thought that it might've been because that area was for VIPs so they wanted to make sure if anything got stolen they could find the culprit
The OP was at fault by not correcting the Karen’s lie that she knew the owner. He set in motion an evening of lies ( by him and his staff) as retribution for her horrific manner and harrassment. Just be upfront, and truthfully, and politely correct her foolhardy and contemptuous attitude, in a clear and decisive manner. Deny her service and request her to leave his restaurant. He should not have subjected himself to the stupidity and horrendous treatment of these girls.

Im pretty sure this story is fiction. Why would the owner of a high profile restaurant be on Reddit? Its just not real.
I'm so sick of these stories..."so this thing happened at my work...lemme tell you about my grandparents because that information is so relevant..."
@guyledouche7939 same! So long-winded! GET TO THE DAMN POINT!!!

I like these stories, but this one seemed fake tbh. Maybe highly exaggerated

Why don't you just close your eyes and listen instead? Problem solved.
