If you soak your garnet item in cool salt water for 15 min to keep the dye from bleeding out, I’ve heard that works. I’ve done it with silk scarves in Vietnam to prevent them from having all the dye come out. I had to hand wash/soak each scarf individually as well. A silk scarf is much smaller than a dress though, so I don’t know what to tell you. I know in Bali homes do not have washer/dryers there and that you have to bring everything to a laundromat. Finding a good place to drop your laundry in Bali is Key. I remember getting my clothes back looking dingy like they put all colored clothes with white clothes and my whites would come back looking dull and faded. Plus they don’t wash using Clorox or anything to brighten whites either. Good luck with preventing your clothes from fading.

I find that in a relationship alignment is key. Having similar core values and understanding makes a relationship effortless. It doesn't mean that it doesn't require work but it will be easier if you share common values.
