Not a bad build, pretty clean and simple, with inexpensive parts. Well done, but if I had a dollar for everytime I heard "Go ahead" I would have 78 dollars in 17 min. 🤣

Good video. Ive been looking around for 2 tire hose kits, or diy kits, and this is as basic as it gets. Thanks for the links. I have the same compressor, and it works well enough for my needs. Piecing together a 2 tire hose kit now.🤙

I really like the 2 tire setup, it saves me time and it’s not a hassle to roll it all up. Good luck on your setup and thanks for watching the video!

I have the same compressor. The most annoying part for me is turning the compressor on and off manually. I thought about adding a pressure switch to it. You would have to tune it to account for the pressure drop due to the flow velocity. You could do this by trial and error to fine tune the probability of hitting your desired pressure assuming you had a adjustable switch due to the uncertainty in the latency of the switch and environmental conditions such as temperature. It would require a small circuit to cut the current going to the pump via relay or something too. It’s a bit of work though haha so I haven’t done it yet. I just over fill the tire by a small amount then drop the pressure with a gage in hand.

Yeah, it’s been a good little compressor. It would be cool to have an auto off on function. I know several of the companies are coming out with those now, it would be cool to modify ours to have that same function. Thanks for watching the video Scott!

Any issues with the 4 tire setup? I bought one and tried with my 2781 but the valve kept blowing.

I’m still running the 2 tire setup I made is this video, it still works great. That air pump should be able to handle the 4 tire setup, I wonder if there is a blockage or high resistance somewhere down the line? Does the pump function properly with the factory included hose?

@@FROSTBITEOFFROAD it is supposed to work but don’t. Works great with standard hose. Had it for 2+yrs and never had any issues

@@DelanoJ I wonder if one of your air chucks is stuck closed, you could take one off at a time and test it. I know one of mine doesn’t hold the pressure as well as the other, so it might be a good place to start.

@@FROSTBITEOFFROAD I will try that. They had to sell me extra chucks cuz stock ones didn’t fit apex design quick deflate
