Vocaloid 1 is Kaito and Meiko, V2 is miku, rin/ren.
Prima and the other ones are actually english vocaloids (sweet ann... and the guy voice whos name escapes me)
True. Crypton Future Media (provider) announced at first that Rin is the real and Len is her mirror reflection, because both have the same voice actress' bank. But soon they are recognized to be twins, and Crypton seems to accept this prevailing opinion.
So I call them twins.

Actually, they're from the Character Series. Vocaloid 2 would be Kaito, Meiko, Prima, etc. Len, Rin, and Miku are all from the Character Series. Miku is 01, and Len and Rin are both 02 as they come in the same package. You're right about them not being siblings though~ :)

It's not quite English; the twins (and all other Japanese Vocaloids other than Luka) don't have English voicebanks, much less PRONOUNCIATIONS, so anyone wishing to have them sing in English must use phonemes, and the end result is something like this: Engrish. Mergurine Luka (Japanese tends to put a person's last name before their first name) still technically sings in Engrish when her English voicebank is used, but hers is far less noticable.
I love Len as much as the next gal, but he completely MURDERED this song....he sings Japanese well!

I'm with this person... i agree completely, some times i see them as twins and others as look-alike friends... but that's my opinion

This is actually pretty good for a Vocaloid cover. I mean, I heard Megurine Luka sing a song in English and it really wasn't very good. Why sing in a language that is a little hard to sing in when you're already ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL in Japanese? But this is a great song and the movie is always going to be a classic.

@ShesheandMimi2 Why luka sounded bad was because they probably used her japanese voicebank. She has an English voicebank, however, (since America sucks) I don't think it has ever been used.

For the most part, the Vocaloids are programmed specifically for singing and not talking. They can say a few phrases, but if you make even Miku start talking paragraphs, you'll have a hard time understanding a word she says even in Japanese.

I think they did quite a good job on their pronounciations =) It isnt perfect as Luka, but its quite good compared to others ^^

why is it that rin sounds so incredibly cute when she sings but the minuet you try to make her talk she sounds like a smoker of 30 years?
