Am I imagining things or is this Len singing an intelligible English song (that also doesn't sound robotic or autotuned to hell and back like some RL singers!)?! Well done!
Wasn't thinking this would work but it does... in a different way. The song sounds very soft and pretty. The vocals deserved a way better midi render though.

Statisticly, One's mind absorbs linguistics far better when one is young than when one is an adult. So that isn't much of an argument^^0 Conditioning is the best way to learn any language. Besides, I think, more specifically, it is English grammar that is most difficult to learn, not how to speak it cognitively.

lol, That Was Cool! I've Never Used The Software, So I Don't Really Know... But I Think If You alter The English Words' Vowels It Might Come Out More Clear, Since They Pronounce Things Like "I's" As "E"... But That's Just Me ^^;
It's because English is the Borg of langueges. And lets not even get in to the diffrent versions of English I know people from Britian and Astralia that I can barly understand at times and its not just the slang they use.

How does one make the "i" sound like in winter and little with japanese vowels? I know you can meke the long "i" sound as in I by typing "ai" but how do you get the short "i" sound? it's mystifying and I just can't seem to put together diff vowel combinations in my head to make that sound.
Getting to the decent level isn't that hard. But mastering everything like grammer and all would be hard. If you try any other languege in the same condition, you'll find that most languege is easier compared to English.
